that right before I came to the site. Even without the pick 6, Iowa is carving GT up. Their D doesn't look the least bit confused from all the misdirection of the triple option either.
**edit**
157 yards passing in the first quarter! without the pick 6, this isn't even close.
is that you don't hear it from anyone else. Well, I haven't seen it from anyone else, but that doesn't mean they aren't saying it. I just wish it was more vocal.
Well said. I bet most people who give their kneejerk reactions change their tunes with a couple days to think about it. We ARE on the right track even though today sucked. Whatever. We move on.
to see the replay of the Creminole take a swipe at the UNC player. They were like, "do you wonder where a guy's head is at when he does something like that." Are these guys actually surprised at behavior like this from an FSU player? They always act this way. Am I wrong here?
hasn't already written a breaking news article siting an anonymous source that Devin Gardner has switched his commitment because of eroding family values and that he doesn't want to practice too much.
and as fans I think we should heed his words. We should always look forward. We have a golden opportunity this next Saturday to start the back end of the season with a bang. Besides, we are only through 3 games in the Big Ten schedule. We could still be the BCS rep (kind of unlikely, but you never know).
I don't know if anyone caught it, but tosu is still one game behind us for most consecutive road wins in conference. This is one instance where I love people rushing the field.
Do you think tosu was exposed at all today, or did they just play bad?
that while I am a huge Michigan fan, I change affiliations during basketball season. I live in KS and grew up loving KU basketball. My M football love comes from my brother playing there. I get told all the time that I can't be a fan of two different schools in two different sports, but whatever. The reason I bring it up is that it was EXTREMELY gratifying beating Cal in the 2008 National Chamionship especially after what he/Rose did to that program. He is a piece of work.
There is a difference. The cops can't do anything without the proper burden of proof, but that can't stop you from proceeding without them. There is also two level of civil. The first is using an attorney and going after the 4 people and the hotel hardcore. The second is taking the 4 people to small claims for the max value the state will allow for the damage to gifts, etc. You will have to fight and prove this on your own. Shouldn't be too hard since there is sufficient video to show they were the only ones to enter the room and they were not supposed to be there. See if they have the balls to lie to a judge. Second, you can take the hotel to small claims for the max amount and get all your money back for breach of contract. Again, point out to the judge that you were the only ones allow in, show the video.
p.s. the max allowable in Michigan is $3,000.

week again after the 6th game. Move the osu game back a week. I wouldn't even be opposed to moving the osu game back two weeks, adding a bye week after the 6th game, and starting the season a week later than everyone else. Just thoughts.
one of the best MNF games in recent memory. I am a College football homer, so I root for teams with UM alumni. It was great to see. Henne and Edwards getting all that attention. Dave Harris leading his team in tackles. Long and the rest of the OL not allowing a sack. Feely keeping his FG streak alive. Wow.
just killed a 41 yard kick. I think it would be fitting if the Tuna draft the Space Emperor to blast kicks. Miami is not that far from Cape Canaviral, so it wouldn't be that far for Zoltan to come from his second job at NASA plotting star charts.
in the Florida-Arkansas game. The Florida D looked pretty nasty agaisnt LSU.
Don't know enough about TCU.
Kansas can light it up, so I would take that bet before the other two.
thing. I hate the Ginn thing, but seeing Henne having success makes it worth it. Ginn kind of needed to redeem himself after that pitiful fricking blocking effort on the WR screen.
He is not officially down til he gets touched, and that didn't happen till after he went into the endzone. The Ref didn't mention when he was touched. Am I wrong here?
from Henne. Frickin' buckeye's. Nice to see Braylon get the TD after all his recent troubles. Wish he wasn't getting all this negative pub. (whether it is his fault or not).
Penn St. and Minnesota. The battle for the jug is great, but having the Penn State game is awesome too. We will fight with them over attendance (instead of a jug), so that is a "trophy" itself. Just a thought.
will see how much character he has. It is not the mistake that defines us, but how we react to that mistake that shows people who we really are. I hope he gets his act together too b/c I am sure he is a good kid, and he does have talent.
if you can remove the passion from the arguement, it might be important to realize that on the scoring drive DR led he passed 2 times for 16 yards. This drive was going to be totally different, so the drive before almost doesn't matter. Personally, I think that Tate was the better option, but I trust the coach and respect his decision. That is what he gets paid to do, and that is why I like him. He will make a decision, and then he will most certainly stick with it. The season is only half over and Iowa is a good team. I am still more pissed losing to MSU than this game. Delaware St. couldn't come at a better time.
b/c he had so much promise. He goes from being the unchallenged #2 CB to not even being on the travel roster in 5 weeks. I guess we will see how much character he has.
1) BG is a beast.
2) Warren is wonderful.
3) Turnovers suck ass!
4) QB's need more experience.
5) We didn't perform so bad (we win with only 1 turnover). Easily fixed stuff.
sting more when BG goes apesh*t in the Iowa backfield. I became more optimistic about this game once I saw that everyone is picking against us. I think we play better as the underdog.
LB insticts. This is probably the only part of moving players up a position (i.e. recruting LB to be DE, S to be LB). They don't have all the playing time at the position to fall back on. We just don't have many true LB's on our team, and it shows. I am a fan of the hybrid positions, and moving players up to take advantage of raw speed. Yet, we are showing the importance of still recruting natural position players.
p.s. Chait is awesome.
I think the coach is responsible for development, but not as responsible for performance. I really doubt Hopson is coaching these guys to NOT fill gaps, and not tackle, and to take poor pursuit angles. This is on the players. Their making the same mistakes is partially on him. I would have no problem getting someone else in, because we need someone who will take average players and make them great.
It is a good thing if ND (gasp!) does well. It makes our win look better. I am not even thinking about msu anymore. They just made their season, and can now slip back into mediocrity.
kid. Not just in mop up time either. He has to face some pressure to prepare properly. He also needs to face the adversity of not performing that well.
I believe that we shouldn't read too much into this game. Does it suck? YES. We move on and find some good things from it. I hope that you slapped those who said we wouldn't win anymore games.
