It's great to see that the majority of the students and alumni are standing up for what is right here and not trying to push things to the side like so many prominate people have at MSU.

Now think about it for just a second. Maybe just maybe the coaches saw how BIG of a question mark our OL and pass pro. was / is and thought better than to toss Peters to the wolves so to speak.
Did he look like he had a good amount more potential than O'Korn once he got a chance, no doubt about it, but he also looked like he lacked confidence at times out there. Getting smashed by opposing DL and LBs while not even completing a 5-step drop would NOT have helped in that case.
Give your 5th yr Sr. the helm knowing that the experience for the OL this year will hopefully get them to a position next year to protect your now RS Soph QB. That makes a lot more sense to me.
All I know is I sure am excited that when we let go of Harbaugh at the end of the season we've got ALL of these ELITE couch potato coaches ready to take over our program with all the answers!
I can't understand how we missed on all of these guys 3 years ago with all of their experience in coaching and instead went with someone who has only been coaching his entire career at the HIGHEST levels.
Can't wait for them to come in and with just a simple snap of their fingers fix our problems!
At this point in our society perceptions don't matter any longer. There have been FAR to many incidents regarding DV with our atheltes (college and professional). IMO there needs to be a 0 tolerance policy implimented moving forward.
If you're that "out of control" of your own actions that you cannot simply turn around and walk away from a bad situation without making it 100x worse than you simply don't need to be involved in what ever atheltic situation you're involved in. There should be no grey area any longer.
With an elite coach as many have stated in the past this is just something we will have to get used to each and every offseason.
Programs will continue to show interest in our assitants and it will stink to lose thiem, but with Harbaugh at the helm there is zero reason to believe he won't go out and find a more than sutiable upgrade each and every time.
As Michigan fans I'd say we know what he means with a comment like that. Harbaugh is a pure competitor and winning is the only outcome he wants for his program. He would consider anything less a dissapointment and strive to correct what ever issues the coaching or team needs to make sure "he does what ever it takes to win".
Not one bit concerned about it meaning anything other than that.

That is what I was thinking the whole game. UCF was clearly selling out on almost every defensive play against run plays leaving their secondary in man coverage which is why we struggled to get much in terms of YPC.
Just goes to show how much more of a well rounded team we are now. Teams can't stack the defense against us to our percieved weakness because we can now beat them both ways. (Pass and Run)

You would think, however, that any sensable MSU fan would rather NOT see crap like this as you know damn well it is just going to add more fuel for Harbaugh's fire to not only turn this program around but to pound his rivals each and every year. Add to the fact that without a once in a lifetime screw up they lose to their main rival last season.
Class of 2018 ... We've got a long way to go just to finish off our 2017 class. I am not even going to begin to worry about 2018 recruits because I believe by NSD for 2018 we will still have a very strong class.

We had a coach who wanted to stay above the rest with being a nice guy just exactly how did that turn out for Michigan? If you want Michigan to be a title contender year in and year out then you had better get used to not always being on a level above in terms of "morals".
Yea I certainly looked for something out of the endzone, but unfortantly everything I was able to find were tickets that were a bit more than I was looking to spend.

Harbaugh has not said yes to it.
The leak of reported money didn't come from the Michigan side, more than likely Harbaugh's agent. Money getting out to the masses isn't what Michigan wanted.
The offer getting out has Michigan concerned about Harbaugh taking the job. There has been no face to face meeting with Jim Hackett. The offer was done via his agent. The first face to face meeting happens December 23rd. Harbaugh will have to make a decision quickly from that point, to at the latest after the Niners last game.
Bob Stoops is the top target if Harbaugh stays in the NFL.
Les Miles isn't in the mix at all.
I can't wait for this to end.
Again clearly we won't know anything for sure until the deal, assuming he comes, is made public; but at this point it would seem that he could ask for just about anything and I believe that Hackett and company would comply. Call it dessperate if you want to but to get an elite coach who gives us one of the best chances to turn things around I would say it is smart on their part.

Right now I think Hackett is at a point where if it means the difference between Jim coming home or staying away that he could ask for just about anything and get it.
Well it would be nice to still have him and Hariis in the fold for 2015 but I can say that I believe that Weber and Cole will help soften the blow a good amount. Best wishes to him either way, it will be interesting if he does end up at DB instead of WR.

On a recruits "official" visit just what exactly can be covered by the school when it comes to costs? I would assume travel is covered where on an unofficial it is not. What else is a schooled allowed to cover with being in violation of the NCAA?
I still think someone needs to get into THJ's ear about his shot selection. He does so well when he puts the ball on the floor and drives to the basket, but these shots when he is covered need to stop. Wasted possessions are not going to help come tourney time.

Two thumbs way up for her to come out and make sure he 100% understood that he doesn't deserve to breath one more breath of fresh air as a free man.
The only thing that was inappropriate was his treatment of the hundreds of victims that have come forward. Now he can pay with his life.
