you're still pretending to be

you're still pretending to be a Michigan fan beachbum?? Valid points you make, just thought you gave that schtick up last year

however, as a reply to my

however, as a reply to my post, I think it would be awesome exposure for Hope for Pahokee if the shirts were endorsed by Tae/the foundation and if proceeds from the sales went to the foundation. Maybe even feature hopeforpahokee.com in really tiny print on the back of the shirt?

completely agree that this

completely agree that this should not be sold in the mgostore unless proceeds are given to Tae and the Hope for Pahokee foundation. I am really surprised there was no oversight about this before Six Zero put this up on the store, since the #Eating campaign and Hope for Pahokee has been featured on the blog numerous times since Tae started it last year.

yeah, last year the team only

yeah, last year the team only used the big house locker rooms to get ready for 2 practices that simulated pregame routines, etc. and those took place about a week prior to the start of the season, so this is not a big deal imo.

More telling would be if his locker was taken away at Schembechler, as that is used pretty much every day.

I second Grand Haven. it is

I second Grand Haven. it is beautiful.

If you're going more north, Ludington is a great area.

Muskegon is near and dear to my heart, Pere Marquette is very nice and the state park on the N. Muskegon side is more of the same but WAY less crowded.

If looking for a family vaca, I'd recommend renting a beach house on Lake Michigan on the North Shore in Grand Haven, I've done it a few times and it is great! If with friends, may I suggest camping either at Muskegon State Park or Ludington State Park (Ludington imo is the best state park in the state)

just another day at

just another day at work...hoping to get out early to catch some of the Eng-Sweeden game this afternoon.

sidenote: any MGoLawyers know if notice of a contempt hearing must be served on the individual or is it sufficient to serve notice to just the attorney?

To me, Brandon Graham will

To me, Brandon Graham will always hold a special place in my heart for the way he banded together the team in the RR era and how he worked his ass off despite his lack of coaching to raise his draft stock and become a beast.

That being said, I would vote:

1. Long

2. Hart

3. BG

4. Woodley

but so hard to leave Woodley out of the top 3.

My take on what they should have done...

i see they went the georgia

i see they went the georgia route and all players are legally changing their last names to SPARTANS for the game. sweet.

yeah, and charles woodson is

yeah, and charles woodson is a total piece of shit human being as well for his actions on Thursday night, right? Get a life dude, football is a contact sport.

not his prediction, that was his michigan friend's prediction

I've been looking for a place

I've been looking for a place to post this but didnt want to hijack another thread...my friend called and talked to the pioneer lot people...

apparently the pioneer guy said his guys will be there at the usual time (around 7:30) and that they wont be doing anything differently. take it for what it is worth. sounds like they wont be officially open until noon but they wont kick you out if you're there.

Things I know...

1. The first delay was NOT because of lightning, it was a decision made by the referees and NOT the university/stadium officials due to lightning. The WMU coach was bitching at the officials as soon as WMU was on offense and the rain picked up...consider this to be a part of their decision.

Keep in mind that IF it was due to lightning, players would have to remain off the field for 40 minutes after the last sign of lightning within a 6 mile radius. The players weren't even off the field for 40 minutes total.

2. The western band was in tshirt and shorts because 4 of their band members were treated for heat exhaustion before even entering the stadium. This was on the walk over and while walking down the tunnel. After this happened, the WMU band officials made the decision for the band to change out of their uniforms and into tshirts and gym shorts.

yeah

I was at the closed scrimmage on friday and was told that Hoke wants the players focused on the game and their task at hand and not the fans or the hype of walking in. Wants it to be business-like and have them quickly get off the bus and file into the locker room.

Wait till this weekend

Come Saturday, Denard'll teach them how to bucky

wow

go root for usc rojoforever. did you not watch the MooU game? we dominated on offense and shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times. If you think one DL can make a difference that large then I suggest you go watch the second half of last year's game at Kinnick. DRob ran all over that Iowa D line and that's when he had a ZERO percent chance of throwing the ball.

How many bone-headed mistakes have you seen Denard make this year? 2 poor throws trying to force things in the endzone against msu is the only thing you're gunna find.

I could be wrong

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I heard the lady host of College Football Live on espn2 after the USC-Wash game say right as they were cutting away to sportscenter that next week they'd be at the Michigan-Michigan State game.

good for him

is max pacioretty still with the habs? I haven't heard any news on him in awhile

Def agree

this is the lifeblood of RR's offense--big, mobile OL's able to get to the 2nd and 3rd levels; WR that can block and run flares and slants as well as the occasional long route; and a mobile QB that can also distribute the ball when the D gives him the openings. I can't stand the people saying its just one player doing it all. The blocks DR is getting from the OL, WR, and Shaw/Smith have been crucial to him breaking all those long runs

Sound on Field

I've been on the field for the games for the past few years and, while it was very loud at times during the UCONN game, I'd say the loudest I've ever heard it was last year's ND game.

I have a feeling that once we get a very close, exciting game played in the new Big House that it will trump the ND game.
