6 hours 29 min ago	Yes, but its supposed to be	Yes, but its supposed to be because of movie tie in sales.  I think its CBS(?) has the rights to TV show/Star Trek as a whole and Paramount has the rights to the movies/has to lease the rights even though they used to be under the same umbrella.  The TV side keeps selling "classic" merch and it has pissed JJ off because he feels its confusing to the public as those characters (obviously) do not show up in his movies (PS I'm talking Shatner as Kirk).

However, forcasting tornadoes is a crap shoot at best, just think about how many "warnings" Michigan gets yet we never see anything come of it.  Saying you cant build there is asinine, unless you want to make the entire Plains area off limits, as it is literally a 1 in a (insert large number) chance of happening again.  The fact of the matter is, is that the topography of the Plains lends itself to the formation of these super cells and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.  Having went through my first tornado scare last year, and in speaking to coworkers, this is just a fact of life down here that everyone accepts and hopes it never hits them.

I am 26 years old so I would think I am in this younger demographic the AD is trying to cater to.  The whole UTL thing,sure it was a big night so you wanted some special jerseys and at least they kind of tried to go "retro".  OK. I get that.  However, we do not need 5 different combos each year, pick 1 f*cking game so you can make some extra coin and leave it the hell alone because they always look stupid, and you just piss on the #1 rated uniform in sports.

1 week 6 days ago	I feel your pain.  We bought	I feel your pain.  We bought a foreclosure in Oct. 2012, so we spent the winter inside and "neglecting" the yard.  Found out that we should have thrown down mulch/topsoil/seed mix in the winter and let it go dormant and then pick it back up in the spring.  So right now I'm just trying to kill all the crabgrass/chickweed that is what currently passes for "grass" in my yard and planning on doing a major re-seeding this fall. It wouldn't be so bad if I had some Michigan black dirt, rather than this southern red clay that tracks everywhere.

I've already mowed the lawn for this week and I guess I really should get started on writing my script for the wedding ceremony I am officiating for my sister in law and her fiance.  That said, I feel I should be drinking wine out of a chalice/goblet while I am contemplating the meaning of love/happiness/marriage.

I wonder if Gallon's cloaking field works as a QB (QB in HS).  Trot him out w/ DG in a split backfield set and the D is going to wonder if DG is drunk as he is lined up over the guard.

2 weeks 1 day ago	huh, you know I kind of like	huh, you know I kind of like that idea;   Here is 60k a year, but you have to pay tuition/board/meals out of that, anything left over is yours to keep.  You could still do partial scholarships with this set up too but I guess the kicker is how many womens sports are "full ride" rather than partial scholarships which could make this expensive.
2 weeks 2 days ago	While yes, the per subscriber	While yes, the per subscriber fee for ESPN would increase.  If TV was a strict ala carte model, I would have to think you would see these ridiculous fee's paid to the conferences start to hit a ceiling and come down (supply/demand).  Right now there is such a huge supply (subscribers) that they can afford to throw buckets of money at a conference just for the right to broadcast a random Tuesday night game but if that cost starts being shouldered by actual sports fans, expect everyone to say f*ck it I'll watch it at Bdubs (if at all).  I honestly do not think the demand is there for XX million subscribers to pony up $50 a month for just ESPN, and end up watching the crap they put on TV. Best thing everyone can hope for is that Fox Sports 1 takes off and gives ESPN a run for the money (though it retrospect, they will probably overpay to get a "name" conference on board).
