12 hours 29 min ago	Its all about the points; Go	Its all about the points; Go to Mgoblue's website, find the football tab and somewhere in there it should link to a "giving" page.  IIRC you need to pony up at least $500 for the "right" to ask for season tickets (which if  you only give $500 you probably do not have a good chance at getting), and then you wait and see what happens.   Also, as an alum you will get a few points automatically for being an alum but I forget how many as they recently changed the point system. A good path to success is to make sure you give for say 2-3 years, and then request season tickets.  Of course if you make a lump sum donation of say 10k plus the seat costs you may get someones attention.

My wife has never turned on the Xbox let alone created a profile so its not like they can use facial recognition and to dissallow people.  Further, I thought they've said Kinect can be turned off, but it needs to remain "hooked" to the system where as the internet/ping system cannot ever be turned off.

1 week 6 days ago	I would have to say its more	I would have to say its more about how things are done today than anything.  With football camps and social media blowing up the way they have it's extremely easy for a kid to get noticed early and if you are not one of those teams who show interest early,  you often end up in last place because you havent shown any love.  It's a vicious cycle.

2 weeks 2 days ago	In laws just go rid of their	In laws just go rid of their Acadia as it racked up over 5k in repairs within 1 1/2 years of ownership.  Being that they are old they simply drove the thing to Meijer and back, the vehicle only had something like 15k miles when they purchased it so not sure if its representative of build quality or simply a lemon.

However, forcasting tornadoes is a crap shoot at best, just think about how many "warnings" Michigan gets yet we never see anything come of it.  Saying you cant build there is asinine, unless you want to make the entire Plains area off limits, as it is literally a 1 in a (insert large number) chance of happening again.  The fact of the matter is, is that the topography of the Plains lends itself to the formation of these super cells and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.  Having went through my first tornado scare last year, and in speaking to coworkers, this is just a fact of life down here that everyone accepts and hopes it never hits them.
