every play and still get 5 yards per carry. Lets be honest... I wouldn't really play Tate... I can't imagine he'll play more than a drive or two if they march down the field... I can't see how they can possibly hang with our speed. I think it will be like the EMU game..except worse. Michigan will probably put up close to 400 on the ground. I see Carlos breaking some long ones. And Denard probably breaks one or two for 50 or so. A poor 1AA team won't be able to handle their speed.
Devin will probably redshirt...but lets be honest. If he enrolls early, he would most likely be a more serviceable quarterback than denard. Devin is a much better passer than denard is right now. Denard isn't a 'real' quarterback. I like him, and i think he'll be a good college player, he just isn't the number 1 qb recruit. This is all moot considering we have Tate. As long as Tate is healthy I think Devin redshirts. Although, if Tate gets some sort of serious injury where he is going to be out 6 or 7 games...Then?.. Then i'm not so sure. What is the thought if Tate would be out the majority of a season? Would they burn his redshirt?
