the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Having moved from Madison about one month ago, the area where Ball was jumped has become dangerous in the last few months. Not long ago, there was a random shooting outside of a bar within a block of this attack. During the day, the area is safe. At night, things around there have gotten more dangerous. |
| 41 weeks 4 days ago | I disagree w/r/t Quantum of Solace |
I completely disagree as to the quality of Quantum as an action movie. It was a terrible action movie. The fight scenes are visually incomprehensible and almost nauseating to watch. I hate everything about the quick-cut, shaky-cam approach they took in that movie. While it can be useful in very limited situations to convey a sense of visceral action and tension, taking to the extreme of Quantum is inexcusable. Frankly, I think quick-cut, shaky-cam needs to take a five to ten year break. It is so pervasive (see The Hunger Games) that it has lost any impact. Movies like Saving Private Ryan and The Bourne Identity succeeded with QCSC because it was so novel and unexpected. It needs to disappear if it is to retain any impact. |

I don't think the Doc was trying to make any point in particular, and I certainly do not think that he was shilling for players to get paid. In signing off, his goal seemed to be to highlight the 'state of the sport.' And in doing so, he had to highlight the inherent tension between the incessant monetization of college football and its historic ideal of amatuerism. |

Have you considered changing your post formatting? It makes more sense to have the team championships organized together, then put the individual championships afterwards. Proposed order would look something like: CC (Team) - Last CC - NCAA Titles - Last NCAA - CC (Ind.) - NCAA (Ind.) That reads cleaner to me and allows for a better comparison between CC and NCAA. |

Bigger-er question: Did he get a date with one of the dancers? That's the All-Pro move. |

I like the helmet design. I'm always a fan of big, obvious and noticable helmet designs. (See Michigan...) The different colored shoulder thing is just weird, and Nike has done it for both ProCombat iterations this year. I'm not sure where they're going with it. |
