is that nearly any team could have put that video together. USC, ND, Bama, heck, even South Dakota State football would sound awesome with his calling. He was so very good. Thanks WolverineHistorian for putting that together. Incredible.
|6 weeks 20 hours ago||It does hurt||
It hurts real bad. BUT it was a great season. 62 other teams didn't make that game. We did. For that I am thankful.
It won't be that long before we have another final 4 trip. Coach Beilein is a great coach. He'll cobble another run and I think he'll get a title here at Michigan.
Also, thanks for teaching me a new phrase. Never heard of joie de vivre before!
|6 weeks 20 hours ago||Thank you coach B and the team||
My son ran into my room at 5:30 and demanded to know who won. When I told him Louisville, he said "sorry dad". I told him, I'm not. It was a great game between 2 great teams and it was a fun season to watch.
Like most, I woke up a bit sad but thankful for this team and season. The great thing about coach Beilein is that he finds these kids that are so easy to cheer for. Trey is a great kid. As are Mitch, SPIKE!!, THJ, GRIII and the rest. Awesome representives of a great university. We're lucky to have them.
Thank you too, to the people on this site. Brian, Ace and the commenters. It was a GREAT ride.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||This has been a special year.||
An incredible group of kids, led by an incredible player and coached by one of the best. This is exactly what we hoped coach B would do when he got here. If you looked at his history, he's always made his players better. Now he has top tier talent and has them a game away from the top. What a ride!! Now let's get that lifetime contract going!

I could watch it all day long, reliving that moment. It's that good. Kansas. We freaking beat Kansas. Doesn't get much better than that. Oh what the heck, let's watch it one more time...

|7 weeks 3 days ago||I am a tad worried||
I had an all B1G final four. Last weekend, it was pure genious. Now, not so much. But I am sticking with Michigan as the champion.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||mine too||
I had an all B1G final 4 in all my brackets with UM beating MSU for the title.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||What does Marsellus Wallace look like...||
Love the Pulp Fiction style response!
|7 weeks 6 days ago||State||
I want an all big ten final four. Plus being out here in North Carolina, I HATE Duke...
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Another idea...||
I say we just hire Tonya Harding's guys to bash some Kansas knees...
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Is the player that Mitch killed ok?||
Someone please put up a gif picture of that. My bones hurt in sympathy of his. Dang
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Georgetown losing||
Georgetown losing makes the Baby Jesus smile.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Taking a beating but my final four is intact||
I have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Indiana in the final four... So I'm still good lol. And yes, I have Michigan winning the championship. They beat Michigan State.

One of us! One of us! Gooble Gobble! Gooble Gobble!
|26 weeks 3 days ago||Team Butthurt???||
I didn't know we were talking about Twilight...
But I do see your point. It is easier to catch a ball that hits your hands. The throw back screen over the defender right to the hands of the receiver is an example. Plus 6 drives 6 TD's??? That's great no matter who you play

You're hurting our delicate self esteem. Just ask Captain Hindsight. He'll tell you everything we did wrong!
|28 weeks 3 days ago||I wasn't a basher as I didn't see it||
But like you, I agree with that WR decision. He has made some catches right when we needed them. He's been a heck of a player for us. Next year looks like a good one for him.
|28 weeks 3 days ago||Well said||
He has done everything asked of him. He deserves the accolades this week. I would love to see him come in against NU, Iowa and OSU to see how he does there too. He deserves the #2 slot and a shot at #1.
Don't let Minnesota take away from that either. His passes were really good. His decisions were really good. He played a hell of a game. He would have given Nebraska fits had he been prepped to go in the week before.
|31 weeks 1 day ago||He looks phenomenal||
Cannon for an arm, dead on accuracy, takes the hit to make the throw. At the 3:00 minute mark he makes a play showing he has full view of what is happening on the field and not stuck on his primary receiver. Could be a good one to watch.

Thank you! I greatly appreciate it! We found it totally by accident, stopping in at the Mc D's next to it and saw those statues. It was a really cool store.
Thank you again!
|1 year 10 weeks ago||Northwestern||
I remember our excitement when we were selected 3 years ago. I replayed it over and over. One of the really cool things about the tourney is seeing teams that worked hard and haven't been there in forever get that invite. I would love to see their celebration if they go. So for me, I want to see NW win because I think if they win they'll be in even if we beat them.
BUT if, for some reason, the beat us, it won't hurt us. We will still be a 3 seed. The only way we could change that is to go up a seed by winning the BTT.
|1 year 11 weeks ago||yes this ^^^||
Coach Beilein gets the most out of his players. He develops them and makes them better. Even in the losing seasons, you could see improvement. He sets a team environment that allows players to develop and expand their abilities without fear of being ripped into sausage. He's a great teacher, class act and exactly what a Michigan coach is supposed to be. And I'll say it for the millionth time. Get him a lifetime contract. I know this is probably his last stop in coaching, but still he deserves it!
|1 year 11 weeks ago||What makes this so great is the way they won it||
It wasn't beat up on the little ones and hope the big ones knock themselves out. We split both MSU and OSU, swept Illinois and beat Wisconsin. That's some great basketball right there. No backing in. We kicked the door down and demanded it!
WOO HOO GO BLUE!!! (and please get sent to Greensboro so I can see you in person!)
|1 year 11 weeks ago||And that says so much about coach B||
We weren't supposed to be this good, but year after year, he gets the best out of his players. He is such a great coach.
|1 year 11 weeks ago||Yes but think about what you just said...||
We had a chance to win the thing outright... Did anyone here ever think we'd be having THAT discussion? That a bad game cost us the chance at the B10 title instead of and NCAA berth? Talk about a testament to a great team and incredible coaching. Coach B gets the absolute best out of his players and he recruits players that are unselfish and are a blast to watch. It is so good to be a Wolverine!!!
|1 year 13 weeks ago||A lock. Who'd a thunk it?||
ESPN has us as a lock. Did anyone here really think we'd be fighting for the top and already a lock with 4 games to go? You would have taken my house on that bet. Lifetime contract for coach B.
|1 year 13 weeks ago||I saw that interview||
He's got some serious poker face. I couldn't be a foot from Erin Andrews and not be smiling...
|1 year 13 weeks ago||How can you not?||
Class kids, class coach. Win with class. Never quit and they are fun to watch. Everything you want in a team.
|1 year 13 weeks ago||Absolutely!||
Was going to say that myself. This coach is GREAT. Not only does he win, but he wins with great kids. These kids work hard, play right and are good kids off the court too. Plus they are so much fun to watch. That is the definition of what we call Michigan sports: Win and win with class. Coach is a class act and he picks players that are too. Someone else said it and I'll resay it: There's a reason that NBA players are encouraging their sons to play for that man. We're better off for having him as our coach.
