He should coach the Alumni Flag Football game each Spring and that is all. He barely liked recruiting the last 3 years of his career. I picture Joe Pa shitting himself and Schiano cleaning it up waiting for his chance, Dantonio putting electronic dog collars on his players and setting up electric fencing around the nerd dorms, Hope being an all around douchnozzle, Brewster yelling, GO FIGHT WIN VICTORY RECRUIT DERRRRRP, Tressel standing there in his gay friendly sweater vest pointing to Big Ten Championship rings, Fitzgerald just standing there like a bad ass in Purple, Ferentz bailing his kid out of jail and taking him to the bar to celebrate, Zook water skiing shirtless, Lynch throwing his gum at the camera and having a seizure, Bielema getting his Iowa tattoo removed and then Lloyd goes all Michael J Fox up in that bitch. Thanks for this! I used the exact same template/format/language but reversed it to advocate for piped in music! The band was good 10 years ago. It sucks now. Blame it on whatever you like, a lack of music programs in high school, lack of interest in high school band, video games, poor leadership, acoustics, new location or RAWK music. I almost feel bad for them. They practice all week to play on the weekend and you just can't hear them. College football as we know it is evolving. The Big House will have functioning luxury boxes next year(Met with a huge backlash), we have a flashy coach and a flashy offense (Obviously met with a lot of backlash) , we have a dreadlocked quarterback (This is just plain awesome). Trying to change the piped in music is a pipe dream, you would be better served spending your time lobbying to ensure advertising stays out of the big house and lobbying against night games. Those are the inevitable next steps. |
