No toughness on the field, no improvement from week to week, the clappng crap is just plain stupid. Fire Brandon, then fire Hoke.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||"....The rate this team turns the ball over..."||
To me this is the worst part of the whole Hoke regime, In the last four years this team's turnover ratio has gone up not down..

Plain and simple..... You cannot lead with the crown of your helmet.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||This is the very reason Harbaugh to Dallas...||
is unfounded. He can't stand Belke meddling in his running the team in Frisco, what make anyone think he'll like that pompous ass Jerry Jones selecting the Cowboy's #1 draft pick for him?
This is why Brandon Must go first. Then a strong but non meddeling AD has to be hired. Someone who can bring James Joesph Harbaugh back to Michigan.
Then and only then can Michigan football be restored to greatnesss.

There was this team that used to do the whole stepping on it's dick thing... and their coach was the "Big Buck"... He was a "Player's Coach" as well.... and they would inevitibly be plagued with the same type of miscues as they stumbled their way through another season of mediocrity.
The only reason he was able to keep his job so long was that he had a once in a lifetime player....

from his pistol, he got "Glock Leg". you can read more here:
Glock's should always be holstered, Plax was"Mexican Carrying" his pistol (which means yucked in his waistband).

an offense that can impose it's will on opposing team's defense's like that again..

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women."

I remember thinking what was to become of Michigan Football without him.... I still find myself thinking what would Bo do in this situation....
|8 weeks 5 days ago||I cried tears of sorrow twice for Michigan football...||
The first time was when Bo retired, my feelings were that the foundation of Michigan football had been torn away from me.
The second, was when Bo died, I was such an emotional wreck I had to leave work and then I went home and wept all the rest of the day.
Now, tears of pride and joy, that's a different story entirely, many times, too many to count, hell, I get a little choked up when the team charges out of the tunnel.
Did I mention that I love Michigan football almost as much as my wife of 27 years, and the only reason that she rates higher is because she is the one that suggested that we try to get on the waiting list for season tickets back in 1992.

and launch by Frank on that play..... you know Braxton was hurting after that hit....Rivalries they are the stuff that legends are made of.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||I agree wholeheartedly....||
Especially about the getting after people's asses, this is the year for the defense.
If they can hold people to 20 points or less a game we will be in every one and have a chance to win them all.
I'm not saying we will win every game just saying we will have a chance to do so.

Michigan 63 - Northwestern 20.... That was my first game in Michigan Stadium, I remember Harlan Huckleby fumbling several pitches on the option out of bounds.
But Michigan dominated a otherwise pathetic Northwestern squad on an overcast day in early November. I remember going on the field after the game and congratulating players on the win...
Oh.... To be 15 and young again....

Mod's feel free to delete this thread... If you like.
Thank you for all the snarky comments though I wouldn't know what to do without you guys...

and seeing a MSU ball carrier get cross Hi-Lo'ed by the Michigan Defense, man, the top half of his body was shifted over a foot from his lower half.
One thing I'd like to see is us taking it to them physically this year... I think we got the bodies to do it...
|17 weeks 4 days ago||That is a fallacy pure and simple...||
Hoke went 11-2 with Denard and mostly Carr Leftovers, Molk, Schofield, VanBergen, RR's legacy at Michigan was the 2009 and 2010 classes. The attrition from those 2 years is absolutely horrible and Michigan paid for it last year by putting raw offensive line talent on the field.

and Cabrera has the sweetest swing I have ever seen, and that includes watching guys like Carew, Brett, Reggie, Hank Aaron, Al Kaline, and too many others to name here. I have never seen anyone get around on a pitch as quickly as Miggy...

during the National Anthem is absoluteley disrespectful of any American Serviceman who put their very life on the line so that you could enjoy that event in relative peace and freedom.
There is no room for discussion on this matter. It is absolutely black and white, either you respect those who watered the tree of liberty with their very own blood or you don't.
Removing your cap and placing your right hand over your heart is the very sign of respect for those who died and left pieces of themselves in far-off lands to keep you free and secure in your pursuit of happiness.

I see so many fans with hats on, talking and such, during the National Anthem.
It saddens me greatly to see that much disrespect for those who gave their all so that we could enjoy a Saturday Afternoon of Football.

that is on Probation get away with violating the rules without repercussion.
The very defintion of probation would preclude this.
Probation: Probation is a period of supervision over an offender.

what I've been saying for years. Not every kid is cut out for college..... a lot of kids choose which college they attend on scholarship as to how it relates to their NFL draft status.
IMHO this is not what the college game should be about, it was originally created to give kids who did not have the financial means necessary to obtain a higher education the avenue to get a college education.
If you had a pro league for 18 to 23 year olds you could pay those kids whose sole goal is to get to the NFL. Those kids who know the value of a college education could still go that route.
This way everyone wins, the kids who want to get paid do just that, the kids who seek a degree can do so. I feel that college football is being loosened upon more and more as a developmental league for the NFL and is somewhat losing its luster.
