"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."

The team is peaking at the right time. Looking forward to the match-up with in the second round. Not going to predict a victory (a guaranteed jinx) but expect a great game.

wins are always tough to come by on the road in the Big Ten. One of the most rewarding conference wins in recent memory. It may not have lasting impact, but in the moment it is sweet.

From the movie "Across the Universe"

coordinators are crucial and, one would guess, an important factor with returning (or not returning) players.

I watched this one with several Big Ten basketball fans. Entering the game I was pro-Michigan and felt the team could compete for a league title by winning at home and competing on the road. As the game progressed, however, I found my confidence wavering and had a difficult time explaining how Michigan would finish in the top three in the league.
What are your thoughts? Does this game provide any clarity for the season? I was hoping for a stronger performance against a mediocre team on a (primarily) neutral floor.
