Come on, "coldnjl." The guy comes back onto the radio from a stroke, which would probably have most of us collecting disability, and you say he "never even tried after he got back?"
Go root for Sparty...
|4 days 8 hours ago||It's fair||
it's fair to predict between 8 and 9 wins for Michigan this year, but Harbaugh and Brown are going to surprise everyone this year.
|1 week 2 days ago||Risk factor||
He is probably turning down around $4 million in guaranteed money to return to a coach whose overworking of his team has resulted in an inappropriate amount of injuries. Stupid move on his part. Admirable, but stupid.
I hope he manages to stay "whole" the entire season and still cashes in during next year's draft. You don't want to see one bad decision cost a kid as much as this one could cost Bridges. Even if he does go to school you detest, this is still a young man's future that is at stake.
|1 week 3 days ago||Easy answer||
Ohio State cheats. Michigan doesn't. It's a testament to Harbaugh that he is recruiting even close to the second-most prolific cheaters in college football. Bama, obviously, is first.
Harbaugh offers the best NFL training and a great 40 years after football. OSU offers a pile of money right now. Tough choice for a 17 year old, especially one with a poor family.

One one hand, Fisher did get Michigan their only NCAA Championship. OTOH, he opened the door for Perry Watson and Ed Martin, ushering in 5 years of vacated games and 10 more of living hell.
In other words, thank you and fuck you. Why does life have to be so complicated? And while we're at it, how in the fuck did Perry Watson come out of the whole thing unscathed?

This is quickly turning into the European Masters. Sorry, but I always consider the US the "home team" on their own tours.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Ugh||
What a dilemma. What do you do when someone who has earned the right to retire on his own terms waits too long to do it?
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Tired of this shit||
The media constantly underrate Michigan as a team, but then they overrate players' draft positions as soon as they do anything at all. Hopefully, both know they need another year of improvement much more than they need to read their press clippings.
And I still think the real threat for Wagner comes from Germany and not the NBA draft.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Reigns||
I think Reigns does, indeed, go over, because VKM has been shoving him down fans' throats for the last couple of years. And from HHH's recent comments, they don't care that more than half of the arena boos their top "face."
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Nope||
Goldberg trained for bulk instead of cardio because he wanted to look close to what he used to look like and it's tough at 50 years old. That's why the matches have been so short.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Hmmm||
I wonder if Amaker has grown enough as a coach to finally succeed at a high-profile school. I wish him well if he does, indeed, take the job.

Rudy T got screwed. But Webber got what he deserves. How can someone whose college stats have been invalidated and who was an OK pro but nothing special be considered for the Hall of Fame anyway?
AFAIC, until Webber issues an apology and a mea culpa, he is a ghost and should stay that way.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||So what?||
Why does anyone even care about WD conspiracy theory? I don't give a fuck if he has ten accounts. But for the record, I think it's all bullshit.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Ugh||
Adamle was always classy, even when he was in the "growing" stage as a TV personality. Sad to hear.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Idiot||
Mushnik is just a dumbass who never runs out of self-manufactured "issues" to bitch about. It usually involves some form of "public indecency" or xenophobia. He has been terrible for at least ten years. Fuck him.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Yeah||
Yeah, but that "special kind of crazy" is a nice niche for those with NFL aspirations.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||I agree with ATC...sorta||
If Louisville does part ways with Pitino, I am guessing they will buy his silence and allow him to resign. My guess is that they do just what OSU and USC did in footall: admit nothing, deny everything, make countercharges and whine incessantly that the penalties were "too severe."
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Not me||
"Great win? Coach for life!! Heartbreaking loss? Fire Beilein!!"
Not me. I have criticized the "fire Beilein" people all along. What Beilein is doing with a clean program in this era is world class. He has earned the chance to retire on his own terms. I hope he is here another ten years. He'll know when it's time to go.

Wagner hasn't shown the consistency that NBA scouts want. He won't enter the draft because he isn't going to get a first round assessment.
I am much more worried about him getting an "offer he can't refuse" back home.
|5 weeks 11 hours ago||Indeed||
Sadly, basketball has become a game, for whatever reasons, refs incresingly seem to decide that one team is supposed to beat the other and make it happen. As a Big Ten fan, I am disgusted at the officiating today. If I was a NW fan, I would be livid.
|5 weeks 22 hours ago||Uh, sure||
I will "root" for Sparty: to lose in a way that doesn't embarrass the conference.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||Mixed emotions||
It's a good piece, but Rosenberg is still a "piece..."
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Dumars||
Dumars didn't "stumble into a championship team;" he built it through some great trades. Unfortunately, after they won their championship, GM's started lowballing him because they didn't want to be the next GM made to look stupid by Dumars.
But that pick was the stupidest pick in the history of the NBA draft and was the beginning of the end for Dumars.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Insider||
It's an insider article so I don't get to see the list. But just for curiosity, are Sparty's trio of Bridges, Ward and Winston mentioned? I am sure Winston won't be and I am sure Bridges will be. But I am wondering about Ward.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||"Conspiracy theories?"||
It's not a "conspiracy theory" to think that the NCAA people are human and have their biases like everyone else does. People are people. You piss them off and they retaliate when they can.
Unfortunately, speaking out against NCAA hypocrisy while you are still in school is like going to a restaurant and calling the cook an asshole just before he cooks your food. Nothing good will come of it.
No conspiracy: just humans being human.

47-43 as of 11:11.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||Scapegoat||
Someone in the conferernce has to pay for Ohio State's violations. It might as well be Rutgers.
|6 weeks 13 hours ago||Cute||
He got hired because he beat Michgan. He got fired because he couldn't beat Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament.
Maybe Illinois should use other criteria for hiring and firing their coaches. Something more relevant to their own school, perhaps?
|6 weeks 4 days ago||Go figure||
I'm guessing it changed becuase someone reminded the writer of the "unwritten rule" about kissing Tom Izzo's "ring."
|6 weeks 5 days ago||Not selfish||
As a Peppers fan, if he doesn't get picked early, falling to the Patriots would be perfect for him. He would get at least one Super Bowl ring in his first four years, then he would command incredible money on the FA market.
