One thing cool about the UA AA game, is that ESPNU shows the practices through out the week leading up to the game. They get a lot more air time compared to Army game.
Nothing to question... It's a marquee game being played at a marquee setting. Prime time, and it will be the talk of the college football world for months leading up to the game. Recruits will hear all the talk, and see the hype regarding the game. It will bring a lot of positive pub to the program. Again, there is absolutely nothing to question.
247 Midwest Analyst Steve Wiltfong is very good. The coverage of the Midwest is far superior than Rivals, seeing that Rivals doesn't even have a Midwest guy. Also, rumor has it that TheWolverine may be making the jump in October.
Morrison looks to be a fine looking prospect, but have to wonder why none of the big name Big10 schools have offered this Midwest kid? Usually if the kid is a good one and in the Midwest... PSU, Iowa, Wiscy, Michigan, OSU all/some would have offered. Not trying to knock the kid, just interesting...
from what I have read, Hoke and Co. advised Morris about taking a QB in this class... Morris understands that and has no issue with it. IMO, with Morris already committed it may scare off top level QB's for this class.
Thanks for the update... Most of the reviews I have read had Pike NOT having a good day... Pike also admitted that it was one of his worst performances.
Mario O, from not liking Michigan and being a Sparty fan in the beginning, to liking Michigan and calling things all even... That there tells me a lot about this staff and their recruiting skills.
interesting article I found regarding CB height...
"In a 10-year study he did of cornerbacks, he noticed that the taller cornerbacks usually don't make it," Titans general manager Floyd Reese said. "How many 6-2 cornerbacks are there in the league?"
Currently, the NFL has only four starting cornerbacks who are 6-2: Gary Baxter of the Browns, Julian Battle of the Chiefs, Andre Woolfolk of the Titans and Mike Rumph of the 49ers, who played a little safety in the past two seasons. There are no 6-3 corners starting in the league.
"The optimum height is about 5-11," Reese said. "Many of the taller cornerbacks tend to get hurt."
Michigan offered Conway and Beyer both very early, with many people asking "WHO!?!?". Goes to show you how this staff can evaluate talent, IMO.
With added weight, Conway will be a good one for sure...
Carvin Johnson.
Safety position appears to be in good shape going forward...
Also, I am totally rooting for Emilien to grab one of the starting spots, but they news about Cam Gordan lately is very encouraging to say the least...
but understand why he would want to leave... Now focusing on his possible replacement such as Zeigler, how does Manny leaving effect his decision (if any)?
One, you still listen to the clowns on 97.1. I have been 97.1 free for the past 2 months, and I have never felt better. Long gone are the days of me being aggravated and pissed because of the crap they spew daily. I say to all that read this, STOP SUPPORTING THAT STATION BY LISTENING TO THEM.
Two, If Valenti is picking MSU to lose tonight, then it's typical BS Mike. He does this, just in case Sparty does lose, to head off phone calls that would be made the next day by saying "I told you so". F*cking Clown.

I like 247 just for the fact that they have a very good Midwest analyst, something Rivals doesn't have...

regardless of the level of competition.

a part of me wishes some of these CB's that Michigan offers were a little taller... but then again, what do I know...
If this kid's speed is legit, he fast.
Thx Cosmo... Demeitrious seems to be a hellava athlete.
and
FitchFan on the other hand... hahahaha, what say you now?
The Sparty Rivals board is the absolute WORST...
Exactly... If/when it happens... Just hope he ends up a Wolverine!
Thx MadT, I was having the same issue and your way worked great!

Man, I hope it was better than just "OK".

Article was from 2006, so things may have changed a bit...
Incredible work bud. Looks great.
GO BLUE!
Didn't Michigan finish 2nd the last couple of years? Surprised to see them that low...
