I would hope Fleck has enough class not to abandon his team right before the season. Illinois should just name an interim coach from amomg the curent staff, then get Fleck in December or January.

Game Week. Great presser yesterday. A good WR committed, too. It's all good now. BANG, BANG and GO BLUE.
|3 days 14 hours ago||Player mics are terrible||
For years, it has seemed that the mics the players use are not functioning properly, particularly the left-most mics (from the audience perspective) on the players table. Don't they ever do sound level tests beforehand? Definitely not up to the standards I expect from a Michigan press conference. Iknow, I know—not the most important thing in the world.
I'll just show myself out.

|1 week 12 hours ago||You look much different than your avatar!||
Was reviewing your bio page on Amazon. I see you already have a second novel scheduled for release on September 17. Well done.
|1 week 13 hours ago||I just bought it!||
I'm a voracious reader of Amazon eBooks (200+ per year), especially these types of action novels. I think Amazon does a great job affording new authors an opportunity to get started, and I've discovered many new good writers starting out as you are. Founders' Keeper is already downloaded to my Kindle and is next in the reading queue. Haven't read it as yet, obviously, but based on the reviews already out there, it seemed like a no-brainer to buy.
Best of luck on your writing career, and +1 for bringing a new book to my attention.

Actually, I'm a big Coach K admirer. True, Duke seems to get more than its share of favorable ref calls, but that appears to be true of most traditional powerhouse programs. Can't blame Coach K for that. Plus he does an admirable job with our Olympic team of pampered prima donnas. I think it says a lot about the man that he garners the respect of the Olympic teams.

bubbling up from the sub. Indications that the OL is doing well. Less than two weeks until the Utes. Weekend. What's not to be happy about? Bang me. GO BLUE!!!
|1 week 5 days ago||I agree||
I hope they'll have the starter—or at least the two-deep—finalized by the end of this week. That would allow about ten days of practice for the starting unit. Does not seem wise to wait until Game Week to designate the starting unit since it's a Thursday game, and Wednesday will be a travel day. But, WTF do I know?
|1 week 5 days ago||Very well-spoken, confident young man||
Can easily see he has leadership qualities. Not surprising that he's a QB. Wish him well as he pursues that job here at UM. There are no guarantees of success, obviously, but he certainly seems to have the right demeanor.
|1 week 6 days ago||I miss Karsch & Co., but||
I always wondered how much the past "allowed" little videos were edited (censored). When it comes right down to it, we never did see much actual scrimmaging. Yet, I still miss it. But as others have said, if submarine warfare produces a better result, I'm all for it. GO BLUE!

That maize lettering on a white background has got to go.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||YAYYY!||
Some football action at last. Didn't think we'd see any videos since we now have submarines. GO BLUE!!!
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Football at long last!||
Can't believe it's really here. This new submarine thing-ee will interfere with the "fan experience," but I trust Harbaugh's closed door policy to produce a better product. Go Blue, and by all means BANG, BANG.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Real football is nigh upon us!!!||
At last, Fall Practice begins next week. Get us a recuit or two from Sunday's BBQ@BH, then Karsch & Kengerski start their Countdown to Kickoff series, life is good. GO BLUE!!!

Still too many questions on offense for me to go higher than that. I would be more optimistic if I felt Ty Isaac proves to be a significant upgrade at RB.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||reply to: youn2948||
Like you, I was worried about the upgrade from Windows 7 to 10, especially since I'm using a personally-built PC. The upgrade worked seamlessly. Took a long time though, even after you download the files to your PC. I have an overclocked system with tons of fast memory and SSD drives, and it still seemed to take forever. On the other hand, it looks like the install program went and retrieved all the drivers it needed from the various component manufacturers in my system. I was actually more worried about that than the Windows 10 download itself.
Good luck on Saturday. As they say, individual results may vary...
|5 weeks 2 days ago||Yep. You're right||
Only 9 days until the BBQ@BH, and less than 2 weeks until CTK and the start of Fall Practice. Hang in there, MGoPeeps. BANG, BANG.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||Speaking of sticking around too long||
there's the current plight of Steve Spurrier. When all the buzz around the team is the coach's age, it's time to hang it up. This has got to be a major distraction for the team, and it can't help with recruiting. It's already too late for Spurrier to leave gracefully. Give it a rest, Steve, you've had a great run as a player and a coach.

You made a great choice, and we look forward to cheering you on.

We now have Harbaugh, Nike, and less than 3 weeks until Fall Practice. The endless off-season is almost over. We can all make it, if we bang together. GO BLUE!!!
|7 weeks 1 day ago||Drop-back speed?||
I recall a comment from one evaluator earlier in the week that — relative to the other QBs in this particular camp — Peters was a bit slower dropping back to pass. I don't recall any other comments in this regard.
|7 weeks 2 days ago||We've got nice things again!||
Like Harbaugh, Nike, a great coaching staff, and Fall Practice starting in about three weeks. Things are certainly looking up. BANG, BANG.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Bingo!!!||
with your latter comment.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Innovative coaching research||
Ask him how he and the staff research and evaluate potential changes in coaching strategies, offensive and defensive formations, training regimens, etc. I've often wondered how much effort is given to monitoring and/or implementing innovative changes. Do they sit around and brainstorm these considerations at all in the off-season?
