Would Malik McDowell start on this team? I was having this discussion with my friend yesterday, we really couldn't decide because his value is probably inflated by the tire fire around him.

Those SOS numbers make no sense to me. Utah and Colorado are comparable if we're being generous to Colorado, BYU and PSU are comparable, MSU and Wisconsin are comparable, and NW was better than anyone else on this year's schedule so far.
|1 day 5 hours ago||That's bullshit. Everything||
That's bullshit. Everything you wrote goes counter to the idea of a Michigan man. There's a freaking saying about how you are an ambassador of your program. By recruiting these young men and selecting them into their university, they collectively have become the voice of the university.

A perfectly appropriate, cold-blooded eulogy for a troll who wrote mind-numbingly shit content under the auspice of fighting political correctness,.

This is just dumb. There's literally nothing speight could do to win the heisman. He could put up 300 and 3-5 tds in the rest of the games and would not even be invited to NYC

Because they completed most of them.

It's like nobody watched that game. PSU won because Ohio state had a horrific special teams game and the PSU defense was dominant. PSU offense was anemic
|1 day 18 hours ago||There's a difference between||
There's a difference between mobile and run-first. Bama has a mobile qb. Denard could have become a mobile qb but never shook the run-first mentality. O'korn is a mobile qb. Speight is a stone. I'd rather go with a mobile qb moving forward.

is definitely in a bubble in Michigan.
Even then, it's gotta be hard going from a city in the south where there are tons of black people all around you to the north where you are going to be a small minority.

the world would be a lot easier for you if you owned slaves as well.

it's crazy that stuff like that still happens in 2016.

|3 days 14 hours ago||psu offense||
was pretty pedestrian. only put up 280 yards. they won that game because of ohio state errors on special teams.
the argument that we have played no good offensive teams is definitely legit. we've not played anybody nearly as good as tennessee or texas a&m offensively. there's only one good offensive team on this schedule and we play them at the end of the season.

is actually mediocre this year (and we clubbed them like baby seals). msu is plain baaaaaad
|3 days 18 hours ago||Righting all the wrongs in the world||
Since 2008, they've outscored us by 100. So I think the goal should be to win by 101.
Biggest margin of victory was 24, so we should at least hope to double that.
|3 days 19 hours ago||I think that's an important premise||
I and many other people on this board don't think PSU football should exist any more.
I also think that the best way for them to heal would be for them to no longer have a football program and let time heal the wounds.
|3 days 19 hours ago||It bothers so much that these||
It bothers so much that these fuckers have a victim complex like they were unfairly persecuted for defending monsters. Their school's entire tradition is built upon child rape, but they are the ones that have to "heal" after the monsters were exposed and the team started winning fewer games as a result. And, of course, winning is the only way to heal.
|3 days 19 hours ago||"Healing" in that context||
"Healing" in that context just has so many implications that are inappropriate here. A team needs to "heal" after losing some member of their family in a freak accident, or when there's a tragedy at their school. A team does not need to "heal" after their school was sanctioned for its coaches raping children and covering it up for the sake of winning games.
|3 days 19 hours ago||Literally the only way this||
Literally the only way this loss could be bad for OSU is if it were followed by losses to Northwestern, Nebraska, and MSU and then we beat them and suddenly people are questioning if the big ten is actually any good and we see ourselves on the wrong side of the CFP picture. And even then, if we go undefeated that would never happen. So definitively this was a good thing.

|6 days 8 hours ago||I only really started||
I only really started watching for fantasy. I love fantasy more than anything else in sports save Michigan football. But I'd rather watch redzone than an actual game. Still, watching players like ODB, Julio Jones, AJ Green, David Johnson, Gronk, Brady, etc. is better than anything college football has to offer.
|6 days 21 hours ago||The only position he could||
The only position he could play on defense is strong safety/hybrid. He will also be your team's PR/KR. But I think he could thrive as a superior Tavon Austin on offense. Team would probably plug him into multiple places and see where they need him most. Doesn't matter what team he'd be best on because he's going top 10.
|1 week 1 day ago||IIRC, one of the biggest||
IIRC, one of the biggest knocks on Denard was that he didn't have good pocket presence. One of the biggest differentiating factors between mobile qbs that can get out and hurt you on the ground is their relative ability to tell when to tuck it and run versus when to stick in the pocket and make the throw. Denard struggled with that throughout his career, and never really gained an elite identification for when to stick to the pass play that was going to work and when to bail on the play and make something happen with his feet.
|1 week 1 day ago||Yeah certainly there's need||
Yeah certainly there's need for some leeway on the other direction. But my point is that there are tons of replays that are like 80% should overturn and they never do. It's worst in baseball imo
|1 week 1 day ago||This will fix very few calls||
This will fix very few calls as they are so difficult to figure out which is correct even on replay, and there's the bullshit rule that it must be 100% conclusive to overturn. I don't really understand the principle behind review rules. Shouldn't the goal be to get the most correct calls? If you just go with what most likely happened, then you will get more correct calls. Who cares what the ref called on the field?

i think isaac is our best bet to have a workhouse back. but i forsee having a very similar set up next year, but bump isaac up to smith's carry numbers, and add in kareem walker
