|2 days 18 hours ago||For sure||
I'm sure Dantonio picked up all sorts of bonues for last year. From making the B1G championship, winning it, making the Rose Bowl, winning that and finishing in the top 3 in the AP and coaches polls. These contracts have so many incentive clasues it's crazy, like subs.
|4 days 19 hours ago||Both in good spots||
Mullen and RR are both in pretty good spots where they are. Both have new facilities, are competitive in their respective conferences and brutal divisions. I'm not sure of Mullens pay structure but I do know Rodriguez has a very lucrative stock option that he will recieve after x number of years.
|5 days 12 hours ago||Happy for you||
Given all the negative news about the VA and veterans health in general I am really happy to hear that someone was able to the help you needed and not what was the easiest. I know it soun
ds sappy and to some an attempt for posbangs but it is truly sincere. So many get passed over by docs who look for the easy way out.
|5 days 12 hours ago||Really?||
I would be willing to bet really inappropriate things on the FACT the many Michigan football fans not on the board believe football is more important than the university. The other problem is you have athletic depts all over the country that feel the same way.
|1 week 14 min ago||I don't get it||
It sounds like Izzo and Trice were asked specific questoins about their rotation and they answered them. I see it as a legitimate question and answer session with nothing to "poke fun" at. It's not as if thee lost and and Izzo said "if we had our full rotation we would have won".
This seems an awful lot like what Michigan fans accuse MSU fans of, being obessed with your rival since there really isn't anything news worthy.
|1 week 2 days ago||I heard you||
I could hear you practicing. I wanted to hear typing and you executed it well even though I think I was aware, but not fully aware.
|1 week 6 days ago||Screen & reads||
The screens that OSU used tonight along with a few read options really kept the MSU defense off balance. I believe those really opened up the deep pass. Total opposite from what MSU saw two weeks ago which is a remedial offense.
|1 week 6 days ago||Yup||
They were supposed to be gone after Eric Gordon and Greg Jones were gone. Then when Worthy left, then when Gohlston left and Cousins and Bell. Objectivity is difficult for some in rivalries but MSU has not gone away and have lost some really good players only to replaced them with players just as good or better.
|1 week 6 days ago||Wasn't clear||
I guess I could have been more clear. By hurry up I mean snapping the ball with 8 seconds on the play clock versus 4. That's going up tempo for Michigan.
|1 week 6 days ago||Not excited||
I'm not excited by the outcome of the MSU/OSU game. Michigan has this team on the 29th and MSU had their way with Michigan. OSU may drop 50 on the kids in blue and it could be more if Michigan goes hurry up snaps the ball before there is 8 secs on the play clock.

A friend of mine works with MSU athletics and he told me when I asked the same thing a few weeks ago.
The two next to one another are for football, one is field turf and the other is natural grass. Those are both exclusive to football while the field turf field across the way is mostly for the band but is marked with soccer lines as well. They have intramural flag football and club sports like rugby and soccer out there and pretty much anyone can use it if they ask. The old astro/tartan turf field nearest the stadium was for football a long time ago but (when Spartan Stadium was turf) is not just for field hockey and intramural lacrosse.
|1 week 6 days ago||That guy||
Hate to be "that guy" but I'm out on Deveon Smith running the ball anymore. I'm starting to wonder if it's not so much the line but the rb's that is the problem.
|2 weeks 49 min ago||Hmm||
It doesn't really matter if true or not but given all stupidity Winston has been involved with makes it very easy to believe that he is involved. That says a lot about Winston.
|2 weeks 1 hour ago||2011 Notre Dame||
When Gameday was from Ingalls Mall I remember a couple of signs referencing Ohio State. One was about how Luke Fickell looked like the Waterboy and the other was "Liar, Liar Vest on fire".
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Any examples?||
I know he tweeted at Trey Burke and while not exactly appropriate it was hardly malicious. From what I remember it involved Burke follwoing his heart on going to the NBA or not which at least to me, isnt' that big of deal. I really can't think of any other examples where he has been out of line.
In a "cool story bro" segment, I met Hollis at the football game last year and he was very nice. He stopped by the tailgate I was at on Shaw and asked "who let this guy in?" with a laugh when saw me in my Michigan windbreaker. We had a brief but good talk and he showed nothing but respect for Michigan. He also gave me his business card and askde me to email him after the game if I had any concerns or comments. I didn't email him but I still thought that was cool he opened that door to not just a visiting fan but a Michigan fan. Hell would freeze over before Dave Brandon did that.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Are you sure?||
Recruiting I thought had been pretty good, the coaching and development has been awful. I think poor player development is a bigger issue to getting great recruits than a jersey logo.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||We've seen it before||
In the Miami game, after a time out, the indecisiveness from the sideline led to a really stupid delay of game on a 4th down.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Its more though||
The spear isn't the reason for the anger but one of many and everytime a reason arises it's seems more childish and pathetic. The spearing of the field from what I saw involved taunting afterwards as well. Like the logo stomping at MSU last year, the quote of " win and losses are just a statistic", to the "not being fully aware" from Hoke.
This is just another example of the poor leadership this team has.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||As does this base||
This fan base did a nice job of being offended by Connor Cook trucking and shoving Hill, pissy because MSU ran the ball every, damn, play on their last drive with little more of a whimper from the defense. That's just today. Every time Dantonio speaks Michigan takes offense, same for Meyer.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||?||
I don't know of the other stuff but players are driving drunk and they're punching people on the street.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Jesus...||
Michigan fans vandalised the spartan statue last year and many time before. Thats why the Spartan Marching Band guards it every year.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||The term "little brother"||
is a dick move. Can we move past this stupid term because it looks great on a program that has won on game since then.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||This isn't new from Michigan||
Last year more than half the team ran to the middle of the field and started jumping up and down and taunting MSU on the 50 yard line logo as they came out to warm up. So far the theatrics have worked very well right coach?
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Exactly||
The fanbases have totally flipped. I've seen more Izzo level whining on here today than ever before. So what if the starters were in? MSU ran the ball ever single play on that last drive and Michigan knew it was comming everytime but couldn't muster the strength to stop it. The score was fortunate to be as close as it was given how bad Michigan played.
|4 weeks 14 hours ago||Oregon||
In the Oregon game Cook actually fell twice for two of the three sacks. On one he was tripped up by an o-lineman and the other he just lost his footing. Sacks are sacks unless they aren't really sacks. MSU has a very good offensive line and it's been incomplete most of the year with Kruse and Allen missing a number of games. This is the first time their line has been intact since camp in early August.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Arizona||
His Arizona team is dramatically different from his Michigan teams and West Virginia.
Arizona runs the ball a lot between the tackles, uses multiple TE's, and throws the ball more. On defense Arizona uses multiple blitz packages, plays a lot of press coverage on the corners. His OL is full of 6'3" and up, 300 pound kids he recruited, big receivers and his DL isn't really any smaller the what Hoke has recruited.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Contra!||
|4 weeks 3 days ago||No perfect answer||
I feel we really didn't appreciate the rivalry and the success we had prior to 2007. MSU had some really good teams under Daugherty and I'm sure it wasn't too disimilar to today. Sure, Michigan won a bunch of games after that and it was fun to dismiss MSU just to get a rise. Now the shoe is on the other foot and some of my MSU friends are now dismissive towards the Michigan/Michigan State game as "just another game". Now I know they don't mean its actually worse than them getting amped up for the game.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||This is definitely true||
It goes even deeper. I believe it was in 4th and Long by John U. Bacon where I read Michigan was opposed to having a seperate state school for the land grant scholarship. So the University of Michigan tried to halt the Michigan State University's very existance. Most people break down along the football lines but a friend of mine who is a MSU alumni said since Dantonio came in he breaks down that history outside of athletics as well the barring from the BigTen, "little brother" and some of the sideline conduct from Michigan from that game.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||You should go||
It's supposed to be great weather and watching the debacle on TV won't be any better. As long you stay away from the tennis courts on Chestnut behind the Skandalaris football center and the student entrance on the southeast corner I've never seen a problem. I've had some students in the past in EL say some stupid things but I expect that as it happens in Ann Arbor too. Saw a few students make Sandusky comments to a group of PSU fans two weeks ago and they brushed it off pretty well despite the students persistance.
If anyone else has though about StubHubbing it, try for the north endzone. For one it's concourse it brand new, the fans in those sections are pretty mild compared to the upper deck and students, the BBQ pork sandwich they have over there is solid and it's about as far from the students as possible.
