His father was the one saying "only a few more months and we're in the NBA" (paraphrasing) so I don't think we'll be getting any help there.
You can consider him gone. at this point. Enjoy the run we're about to see.

No way JB is leaving. I understand if your memory only goes back so far but there was a time when Michigan BB was about as big as any, as it is becoming again now. And I don't mean the Fab 5 - in the 60s and 70s there was major highs. With the facilities and performance the last few years we are are now way up the ladder and should stay there.
He also doesn't look like someone about to retire any time soon and should be here at least another 6-7 years if not more.

What is the "bad weight"? Bad muscle? Fat? I honestly don't know and am curious.
I'm assuming this isn't what all the baseball steroid users had before they all shrunk back, as they must have been exercising.

Netflix is great but they don't produce content. But yeah it's awesome, especially for binge viewing.

Way too many bad movies might be a more apt commentary. Comics, lame comedies, lame action flicks. TV, primarily HBO, Showtime, basic cable, but even networks, are now putting out a more consistent, high-quality product. 20, even 10 years you wouldn't have seen major movie stars going to TV like they are now. Today they don't think twice about it.
There are of course still great movies, just very few that get a lot of attention.

I don't understand why the text messages make it hard for you believe in these findings. The fact that Martin tried to play along somewhat is really just indicative of the pressure he was under. You really have to try and broaden your view a little.

Here's something I guarantee Jeter's thinking but you'll never hear him say - he now knows he will never have to play another game as a teammate of A-Rod. Don't think for a second that's lost on him.

The most enjoyable two hours of TV I've experienced in a long, long time. Or at least since Sparty. 2014 looking good.

Okay...ugh. My point was that with the current state of defense in the NBA, including that you now have the option to play zone, players with Stauskas' skill set are more viable. There are fewer great defenders overall and it's easier to hide poor ones. In the past there were many more high level defensive players.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||Okay, but I think this is||
Okay, but I think this is consistent with my original point. A player with Stauskas's defensive skill set is viewed as less of a liability. The reasons why can be debated endlessly. Being in NY I've had the dubious pleasure of watching Carmelo Anthony for the last several years. Suffice it to say he wouldn't have been dropping 62 on Dave Debusschere.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||Don't know what it has to do||
Don't know what it has to do with the 90s but yeah, there is an unprecedented amount of bad defense throughout the NBA these days. You don't see it as much with the top teams but pretty much everywhere else. That's why a player with this skillset can go relatively high.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||After watching that I'm||
After watching that I'm surprised they had him as high as 19 but that probably says more about the current state of the NBA than anything. Unfortunately for Michigan I get the impression Stauskas really wants to be inthe NBA - would love it if he stayed another year but appears to be where his thinking is. His father's recent comments confirmed as much.

Personally I enjoy the walk so it's of no value regardless. It's either take an enjoyable walk with a bunch of fans or sit immobile in a jammed lot for hours. To each their own.
|5 weeks 14 hours ago||That's been my approach for||
That's been my approach for years. Pick the game(s) I want, scan StubHub, decide where I want to sit, buy when ready. Sooner or later this is going to come back on them in a not so good way.
It was actually better pre-StubHub when I could buy on ebay - maybe a little dicier but felt a lot more free market, and was cheaper. As soon as the season tickets went out people would offer any games they didn't want - could get great deals months in advance.

Hadn't thought of who he reminds me of but one thing became crystal clear last night if it wasn't before. Stauskas and Levert are the best all-around players on this team right now, and I'm not sure who's first or second. Those two are carrying all the intensity.

If it can be shown that such a significant portion of scholarship athletes in other programs also do not have basic reading and writing skills,
I believe it is unlikely this will be found to be the case on any broad scale. However I also believe that generally speaking it is more likely to be the case the further south you go in these United States.
