msu beat a good wisconsin team, which is more impressive than iowa's win over penn st. msu also beat ND, which at this point looks a little bit better than the dog we all thought they were since ND's losses came against us, msu and stanford and that's a legit schedule.
iowa lost to arizona and it's win over isu isn't too impressive. right now, i think any combination of match-ups including mich, msu, iowa and wisc is a pick 'em, so you have to default to resume in large part and i would say that means the order is msu, iowa, mich, wisc.
and florida should be ahead of all four, but it's close.
NC St. is way too high, I think you're overrating their victories over GA Tech and Cincy. Cincy played OK well, but got killed by Indiana St. They're not good. And GA Tech is mediocre playing football equal to KU and UNC.
Ok St is also too high. Yes, they've put up points, but the only team they've played of note is Washington St and WSU allowed USC to score all over them, too.
And Northwestern came away with squeakers against an SEC bottom-feeder (Vandy) and C Michigan, while beating Rice by roughly the same margin as Baylor and Texus. Every team that's played Rice has put up +/- 30 points. They should be unranked, certainly behind WVU and PSU for sure.
As much as I've looked forward to watching Michigan on Saturday mornings in the past, I've never had the kind of excitement I have had these last two weeks... getting up and knowing that I'll have the chance to watch DRob play. Like a kid on Christmas morning... I just can't wait...
Obviously if he can make it as a quarterback, that's where people will try him, but at the very least, I would think the way he moves around in open space, a reasonable NFL comparison is Devin Hester. Really dangerous whenever you put the ball in his hands, which at the pro level could be best as a returner or receiver.
But I wouldn't forget about Antwaan Randle El - he was a QB at Indiana and got some Heisman consideration before going to the NFL and moving to WR and being a top-tier returner. He's another prototype.
In the more QB-oriented mold, there's always Kordell Stewart, who was solid at QB for a while in the pros.
Still, I think Hester is the best comparison. The only other guy I've ever watched who I thought could score on any given play at any spot on the field.
After ND scored on that TD to go ahead, I got a barrage of texts from a buddy who went to ND... like 6 or so, containing the lyrics to the ND Victory March. We'd been texting back and forth all game, but I didn't respond then, or even when we went ahead. I waited until the game ended then just texted "good game". Didn't really think I needed to say anything else - pretty sure his head was about to explode no matter what...
