I’m in a slightly different area (Montrose). Favorite spots that I'd recommend:

Coffee: Blacksmith for the best coffee.

Brasil for a great outside patio to hang out on.

Breakfast: Common Bond for crowded, overpriced, but excellent breakfast.

Guadalupana, peak Houston establishment. Tex-mex spot in a strip mall that's only open for brunch.

Dinner: Xochi (upscale Oaxacan spot I go to if work is paying).

Nobie's/Nancy's Hustle, modern American, middle pricey, small shared dishes.

Pizza: Gypsy Poet is the only pizza spot to go to in Houston.

1901-1905 under Yost.

1970-1974 under Schembechler.

2021-2023 under Harbaugh

It wouldn´t be entirely

It wouldn´t be entirely impossible considering we will be bringing in a comparably small 2013 class. If we take 28 this year the have 14 schollies next year without accounting for attrition.

Is Stefon Diggs out of the picture for us? I just ask because I havn't seen anything about him lately and we could REALLY use a wide reciever in this class.

Shane Morris:

Shane Morris: “Yes I try to pattern my game after quarterbacks such as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. They’re as close to being perfect as you can get at the position and they choose push themselves everyday like their rookies again.”

>they choose push themselves everyday like their rookies again.

How sad it is that the universities academic standards fallen so low as to recruit football players with such a mediocre grasp of the english language and it's spelling.

It seems Harbaugh was right after all.

Doesn't help that the O-Line's are pretty terrible as well (see 6:11).

Was looking at the tape and while I am very impressed with both his athleticism and play recognition there is one thing I feel is worth mentioning, a good portion of these highlights are composed of free blitzes on the quarterback caused by the offensive line being inexperienced and unable to pick up the blitz from a deffender in motion.

I'm going to be stupidly happy if we get him, but I would lie to point out that our current class consists of:

3 DE

Sincerely hoping for some Hoke snake oil to grab SDSU's QB commit.

Seeing as we have about a

The fact that MM was regularly blasting through O-Lines on 3 man rushes (before he got hurt) makes me very excited to see him on a 4 man front.

Also, considering Hoke and Mattison's backgrounds I think it's safe to say that our deffensive front as a whole will have a fantastic year.

I various inside sources assuring me that Ditka and Gruden are going to be Co-DC's at Michigan.

The idea was to start a stupid CS rumor and see if anyone was desperate/gullible enough to take it vaguely seriously.

But by all means reply seriously and squash a post that was made in jest.

Since DB is supposedly interviewing someone other than Les in Dallas, and many of the coaches on the speakers list are non-options Pete Fredenburg seems like a possibility (probobly not going to happen but he might be being interviewed).

The man is having Tressel-esque success at the lower level and his team plays with outstanding toughness and dicipline.

I have a strong inclination

I have a strong inclination that he's talking to Pete Fredenburg, also speaking at the convention.

Just saying
