| 3 days 19 hours ago | To be fair that Hawks player |
To be fair that Hawks player dove. He sold it very well. |
| 3 days 20 hours ago | Wow |
What a great 2nd period. Gotta close it out now. Play solid D in the 3rd. Keep attacking, and no stupid turnovers or penalties. Go Wings! |

What a pass! And what a shot!! GO WINGS! |
| 6 days 2 hours ago | OT/Cool story bro |
OT but still baseball related. My dad flew down from Detroit to see me graduate from Missouri State University with my M.S. There isn't much to do in Springfield MO, except to visit Bass Pro Shop (!). So I looked up if any sports were being played. Lo and behold GVSU was playing at Drury University in the D-II Midwest Regional. GVSU is rolling through the competition, is 3-0, and are in the drivers seat to win the Regional. Needless to say it was a perfect day for baseball, and there is nothing like seeing my undergraduate university dominate. Go Lakers. |
| 6 days 2 hours ago | That 2nd period |
What a big period for the Wings. And to cap it off with a goal was beyond huge. Now we just have to avoid our newfound 3rd period meltdowns and we'll have taken over home ice advantage. Go Wings! |
| 6 days 2 hours ago | My Question |
Why are players choosing Ferris over GVSU? It seems like GVSU would be the more desirable option due to their national name recognition and success at sending guys to the NFL. Also GVSU would give you a good chance to win a National Championship. I went to GV from 2007-2011. I got there right when the glory days ended :( I hope they can find a new coach that can get GV football back to always winning the GLIAC and winning Championships. GV! Go Lakers!
Also, best of luck to Mr. Robinson at FSU (except against GVSU, of course). |

"...is all knees and elbows to heads." Kinda like the Bulls' strategy against the Heat. |
| 1 week 5 days ago | Watching some NBA and NHL |
Watching some NBA and NHL playoffs (so close NYI!) while drinking some ice cold water. And for my first time watching the NBA in a loooooong time, I can say that Trey Burke will fit in just fine in this league. Yeah he'll need to work on his defensive effort (especially if he is in the playoffs), but everything else about his game should translate into the NBA just fine. Go Blue |
| 1 week 6 days ago | I'd be a huge fan of |
Any new sports. But I would have the most interest in Mens Volleyball and Womens Ice Hockey. Mens volleyball is so intense, and I love me some hockey. Also, Curling would be so awesome. One of my favorites to watch in the Winter Olympics. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | Sorry |
I disagree. That LA/Stl series was the epitome of Playoff Hockey. Physical, fast, great goaltending, and timely goals. That series was awesome. Even without a game 7, it has to be the best series of this opening round. |
| 2 weeks 2 hours ago | Red Wings |
My only drink is water. I'll be watching the Wings game tonight. Working on my final pages of my thesis. Will be walking at this time next week. Receiving my M.S. in Geology from MSU (not THAT MSU)...Missouri State University. Then moving back closer to Michigan and hopefully getting an environmental consulting job. Go Wings! |

| 2 weeks 2 days ago | My Way Too Early Predictions |
Tuesday, Dec. 3 Florida State at Minnesota Illinois at Georgia Tech Indiana at Syracuse Michigan at Duke Notre Dame at Iowa Penn State at Pittsburgh Wednesday, Dec. 4 Boston College at Purdue Maryland at Ohio State Miami, FL at Nebraska North Carolina at Michigan State Northwestern at North Carolina State Wisconsin at Virginia
Big Ten wins, 7-5 |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | That is surprising |
I'm surprised by that. I expected UNC vs MSU. But how do they justify giving Northwestern vs NC St? That is crazy in my opinion. Also, a rematch with Wisconsin and Virginia? Really? That is surprising. OSU should destroy whoever they get with the remaining ACC teams available. I'm still stunned that Northwestern got NC St. Why didn't Iowa get them? Iowa is going to be very good next year. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | Not Sure |
But I know Indiana is playing Syracuse, and we are getting Duke. Remaining powers from each conference: Big-10: Ohio State and Michigan State ACC: North Carolina and NC State. Miami will be down. Virginia may be on the rise. My guess would be MSU gets UNC and OSU gets NC St. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | YES! |
@ Duke vs Arizona in Ann Arbor vs Stanford in Brooklyn @ Iowa State vs. potentially Florida State, Georgetown, Kansas State, and VCU in Puerto Rico
What a non-conference schedule. Go Blue! |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | I'm excited for this |
A home and home with Arizona. This, as well as the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, are helping to keep Michigan basketball in the spotlight. We all know that HS kids love watching these high profile games. Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, MSU, Louisville, etc all participate in these games year in and year out. I'm really happy to see Michigan making an effort to become a part of this group. The Brooklyn Pre-season NIT was awesome and I think really helped us early in the year. I'm hoping we get either Duke or UNC in the Big-10/ACC Challenge. That would make for one heck of a non-conference schedule. Arizona Stanford @ Barclays Center (Brooklyn Nets home arena) @ either Duke or UNC hopefully @ Iowa State Georgetown/Florida State/Kansas State/VCU and Michigan headline the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Not just a football school anymore! Go Blue!

Go Wings! Best of 3 series now! |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | My sleeper Big-10 teams |
Iowa is going to be really good this year. I'm going to say Top 5 good, behind Michigan, OSU, MSU, and Wisconsin. Also look out for PSU (really, look out for Penn State University). If Frazier comes back at 100% healthy and plays like he did 2 years ago; look out. Frazier, Newbill, and Marshall are going to be a dynamic trio with a lot of scoring potential. My bold prediction is that Penn State makes the NCAA Tournament. |

Blackhawks in 5 Red Wings in 6 Vancouver in 6 Kings in 6
Pens in 5 Habs in 7 Rangers in 7 Maple Leafs in 7 (I'm biased towards original 6 teams, and after Detroit, Canadian Original 6 teams (Sorry Boston fans))
Playoff Hockey. Nothing beats it. Except Michigan football on a Saturday. |

| 4 weeks 2 days ago | Chris Farley! |
Tommy Boy! Thank you for this. Now I've spent the last 20 minutes watching Chirs Farley clips on youtube. Just watched Beverly Hills Ninja last night. I'm a pretty big Farley fan. |
| 5 weeks 1 hour ago | This was my first thought as well |
I was thinking the exact same thing. Kid breaks records as a Junior, but has a 4 year scholarship guarantee. Kid leaves, doesn't fulfill his full scholarship. Or can he not leave because he signed to stay for 4 years? Very interesting indeed. |
| 5 weeks 5 hours ago | Depth |
We have too much depth. We need to get rid of some players just to even the playing field for the rest of the Big-10. We run a very solid 9 deep, and an impressive 11 deep. Our first 5 off the bench could be the starting 5 on over 2/3 the teams in the Nation next year.
