C'mon down. I hear he's not too busy right now to take a coaching job.

Allows me to focus on the last remnants of honeydo before football season begins and my Saturdays are spent on the couch. If it prevents me hearing how good they practiced at the Monday presser it's even better.

It got people talking about that asswad and now we're again discussing him. Fox will have a small segment watch just to see part 2.

He has a bodyshop and has done a few magazine restorations. The Judge came up for sale when it's original owner died. The very same car he lusted over as a kid. 40k miles and completely unmolested. He's fretting because the original laquer paint is starting to crack.
Right now he's doing a 70(71?) Torino SCJ. One of (insert ridiculous low number). There are no repop parts so he's actually cut up 2 other cars just to get what he needs.

I have a long way to go before I'm ready
My wife saw that last weekend and said, "I can't ever see that being a car again". I work on cars as a hobby. This is going to be a pro-touring firebird.

Watching Derrick Thomas pummel him as so many times he was ready to flop at the snap. Legend is that for sack #6 in the game Thomas said he was going to sack him for a safety...and did. Almost like calling a hole-in-one.
Back when I cared about NFL I was a Chiefs fan.

|3 weeks 4 days ago||Love to ride||
It's one of the few things that helps keep me sane. I ride to work every chance I get and I am able to smile the whole way there and back. My bike is a bit older. '98 Superhawk, Honda's answer to the Ducati. I consider all those who ride litre twin sportbikes my brother. It's completely different than riding an inline 4.
I'm also blessed to have some of the best mountian roads on the east coast to ride. Obviously The Dragon and a few others are better but they aren't within 1/2 hour of my home. There are riders that come from as far away as Canada to ride here on the weekends.
Every once in a while I talk about getting my "old man bike" since my knees and back get pretty sore if we put in a 200mi+ day but I don't think I'd be happy riding a sofa.

I do not want Saturday to become just another professional league. I like the conferences and that for the most part* there is a long history and tradition that make each conference very unique. Leave the AFC/NFC conferences to Sunday where the only real tradition is millionaires playing for billionaires.
Now get off my lawn!
*until administrators figured out how to "monetize" young men playing the game that they love while sharing very little of that money with those young men.
|5 weeks 8 hours ago||Your kids will appreciate it someday||
My son and I had one of those great father-son talks in the garage this afternoon. We were talking about his friends and how some of them are already making poor decisions. He just graduated high school in June.
He said, for the most part, the ones that are making those poor decisions are the ones who have always had everything handed to them. If Graham wanted something he would either hit the trust fund or get it from one of his rich relatives. Same with another couple of them.
He said, "You and mom gave me things but I always had to work for them. I understand hard work now but they have never had to work hard for anything. If they did work hard it's because it was something they wanted to do not something they didn't want to do but had to."
He is beginning to understand we weren't just mean parents and I think your kids are going to appreciate everything as well.

I have only listened to Cowherd maybe 10 times ever. I have listened when I forgot my Sirius or the few times the antenna was broken and I was waiting on the new one. In that 10 times I remember him saying that he never has anyone on live except for ( ). I cannot remember the name. But, it was only one person.
He even went into the details of how and why he doesn't have live guests.
Anyway, I wasn't going to post anything in these threads but it's quite obvious that he's an attention whore and used the Harbaugh interview to generate Cowherd buzz. Otherwise, would anyone outside of a very small audience even be speaking of his departure?
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Christmas Presents||
Up until very recently the company I worked for hired extra staff to work in the summer. It was mainly college students but it wasn't an internship program. Summer staff would perform the least technical functions of the area where they worked. It's how I wound up here with a degree applicable only through some mental gymnastics.
The last summer they ran the program somehow a single dad raising his two sons came through the door. In the process of him working with me I found out he had never married the kids' mother, she was boning the mailman (for real!), and she had left him to move in with the mailman. This guy, while nice, was in his 30's and more suited to live in his parents' basement than be a father figure.
He was a good and diligent worker that we tried to keep but when the program ended in November he was shown the door. By rule a temp couldn't work more than 6 months in a year. We kept in touch and all of us tried to get him back.
While Christmas shopping for my kids in December I bought his kids $100 worth of giftcards at various stores in the mall. I mailed them to his address with no return address. He called me after they were opened (I was glad to know they weren't lost) but I denied that I had sent them.
He was nearly in tears because the boys would be able to get nonessentials instead of things they needed for Christmas. It was a lot of money to my family at the time but it's one of the best feelings I've ever had. I don't think it would have felt as good if they knew it was me.

Can't go wrong with a well maintained TDI Golf or Jetta. 300,000 miles is not unrealistic. In your price range you should be able to find one of them. Do not get an automatic! It's the weak link when paired with a TDI.
if driven properly your mileage will be similar to a hybrid.

I haven't missed anything as of yet and I'm learning how to navigate it before football season. My only expense is internet but I may pay for one of the legal plugins that has 28 channels/mo in 720p and doesn't have the limitations that are one slingbox (one viewer per account).

KODI plus Amazon Firestick or a tablet should get you everything. A Dish/DirecTV login will almost guarantee it.
There's a small learning curve with kodi but if you are on here you should be able to figure it out.

He and my grandmother basically raised me. I spent entire summers in vacationing with them in Canada. He taught me all of life's important lessons but unfortunately passed from Lou Gherig's when I was 20 before he could see me apply them. It seems like a lifetime ago but I still think about him often.

Cheap razors and Noxema in the shower. I stumbled onto Noxema when I ran out of shave gel and had to shave for a function. My wife had Noxema on the edge of the tub for something.
No shave gel, cream, or balm I have tried works as good and my skin is moisturized

It's long past time to let the RR era at Michigan fade into the sunset. For whatever reason, it didn't work out. RR-related threads always turn into a flamefest. He's not the current coach or the most recently departed coach and still spending bandwidth on his tenure makes Michigan fans sound poorly.
I don't think any coach could have attained longterm success under DB. I am thrilled with the current coach and cautiously optimistic about the AD. Michigan football is solidly trending in a positive direction for the first time in a very long time.
