My wife's grandfather also turns 90 and we're having a party tomorrow. Great man and the only inlaw I love like family.

How late in the season is MB still enjoyable? We aren't going to make our usual trip to Ocean City this year and I am thinking about taking the family to MB or Wilmington later in the season. But, I want to be able to swim in the ocean without it being too cold.

It's worth a try and possibly millions according to the lawyer on TV.

When I'm having a miserable day at work I like to put something on Sirius that I would never otherwise listen to. I had reserved that preset for the 40's channel but I was rewatching the Deadwood series and found that I liked the music that usually ended the show.
I put the Bluegrass channel in 40's place and find myself listening to it more and more. It's very strange because I don't care for country music.

I'm sure being in the federal pen for 2 years on a corruption conviction would make one lose weight too. He was part of a very corrupt county government in Luzerne County. I don't know if he was part of the system that was taking teens convicted of minor crimes and sending them to a youth prison. The judge was getting kickbacks. It was during the same time period and Skrepenak plead guilty and got out of the news very quickly.
"The actions of the county, through its chief policymakers, smell to high heaven, in that county officials were either expressly aware of the bribery scheme, or, at minimum, should have known about it and did nothing to intervene," attorneys for the plaintiffs alleged in a court filing last October.
Those officials included former county Commissioners Greg Skrepenak and Todd Vonderheid, former County Manager/Chief Clerk Samuel Guesto and former juvenile probation official Sandra M. Brulo, the plaintiffs' attorneys said.

I also want him in protective custody. He knows the REAL dirt and eventually he's gonna talk if he doesn't get taken out first. Even OJ couldn't keep his mouth shut forever.
There's one person that knows the true extent of the coverups and cooperation. That's Sandusky and I hope they are willing to make some sort of deal to bring everything public after he exhausts all of his appeals.

Parents can give their married children $56k/yr tax free as a gift. Each parent gives each of the spouses $14k. Keep doing that during the 5 year lookback and it's a decent chunk of change. With more children, I have a sister and my wife has a brother, it doubles or triples depending on the number of children and their married status.
I'm not a tax professinal but this is a conversation my wife and I are beginning to have with our parents as they get older.

There's been several 100+ posts in here in the last week alone that aren"t "FU Delaney for getting Rutgers" posts. I don't recall any of them in the Pre-Harbaugh era.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Harbaugh is the best thing to||
Harbaugh is the best thing to happen to Rutgers since the 1st football game. Between then and now nobody gave 2 shits about Rutgers football. Even now they probably only give one. Most of the better NJ kids went elsewhere, mostly to PSU, and Rutgers was left with the "last call girls"
It remains to be seen if they do any better on signing day but at least Harbaugh has people talking about Rutgers and Football in the same sentence instead of mentioning police reports.
Delaney should be thanking JH for making Rutgers almost relevant with the satellite camps that he didn't support hard enough.

They shouldn't use K-Zone for softball. Softball Umps aren't so good with the whole strikezone thing.

I can't take another one of those announcers that all sound the same with the nasal voice. I really want to mute it. It's like they all strive to sound like a combination Linda Cohn & NPR.
|3 weeks 10 hours ago||Houston for sure||
When they were able to hang onto Herman I was certain part of the selling to him was they had a wink-wink deal that they were going to be part of the Big12 expansion. Pure speculation on my part but it just didn't add up why he would stay there otherwise.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||No||
But there's a lot of snake oil salesmen an saleswomen whose livelihood depends on selling that dream to parents. As a former league official I saw it repeatedly whether it was a washed up minor league never-was selling private lessons or infomercials for the next great training aid.
A true D1 athlete is something very few people actually have met in person. They are just bigger, stronger, faster, and often more focused than anyone else. Most of the 'really good' local kids are usually D2 and D3 is full of above average HS players.

I've been off nearly 2 months on strike and it was FANTASTIC! I'm hoping to retire early and this was a preview for my wife and I. We truly enjoyed being together and did things we haven't done since before and early in our marriage. Not just those things either ;)
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Brock Huard is Awesome!||
"Hoke is definitely a collegial guy, and while I don't think the NFL is going to be calling any time soon, he does have the skill set to be on this list," Huard wrote. "He has the ability to galvanize people and put together a great coaching staff.
"He has been a winner at every level and turned things around awfully fast in Ann Arbor with his defensive-minded philosophy. His ability to lead from that side of the ball could be very intriguing for NFL teams looking for their next coach."

They have too much money tied up into facilities to let it go back to Rice-level quality. Maybe they open the checkbook for Mack Brown and have the appearance of being squeaky clean?
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Rutgers is the Scout Team||
Beat them by 70 and only uses 3 different offensive plays and base defense the entire game. I have a sneaky feeling that Urbs will be involved in the Rutgers playcalling to see how Michigan reacts to certain things.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||Yikes!||
That's not a resume that helps get the next job either.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||It weakens the conference for postseason||
It happened to the PAC12 last year. As a whole, there is going to be more losses by a majority of the conference. That makes the conference appear weaker than an 8-game schedule played by some. When the second tier of teams goes from 2 losses to 3 losses it's not good.
As a fan, I like it because in my heirarchy of viewing pleasure seeing 2 Big Ten teams play is at the top.
|5 weeks 7 hours ago||High School vs College||
This game demonstrated something I've noticed all season (in the few games I watched). Michigan is just bigger than most of the teams they face. I don't necessarily mean beefier but just a larger human being.
Most of the other B10 teams have a few large (I mean that in a nice way) girls but Michigan has them top-to-bottom throughout their lineup with the exception of Montemarano. Valpo tonight looked like a solid HS team but too small and overwhelmed by a B10 team.

I use Kodi for 99.9% of everything with no need for Netflix after using the 1Channel plugin. As was mentioned above I can also use the Playstation Vue service. I use the FireTV when I'm watching heavy bandwidth items like live sports. The Stick is OK on WiFi as I have multiple AP's in my house and they are optimized with OpenWRT.
I have a Pi3 laying around for another project I was going to do but lost interest. I thought about making it a Kodi box.
Can't comment on the other 2 as I haven't had a Roku and I haven't used my Chromestick in years.

I would think that for 7 million you would get a better entrance than concrete blocks and cattle gates. That Dave, still up selling the experience. I wonder what 2 cokes gets.

The #1 seed plays back-to-back and is the visiting team in the championship game. What good is being a #1 seed? Seems that being a 2 or 3 was better.
