If the HOF only took one player at a postition, Ray Lewis would be in over Urlacher. But Urlacher was an extraordinary athlete who altered gameplans and took offenses out of primary reads because of his speed and knowledge of opposing offenses. There aren't stats for a quarterback having to go to a second read because Urlacher took away a TE's route at the last second. Situations like that are what made Urlacher great and it's why experts have been so effusive today.

Your opinion is bad. Urlacher is the best linebacker in Bears history. Singletary isn't even at the best LBs of all time table, Butkus maybe, and Lewis is definitely. The system Urlacher played in didn't lend itself to a lot of big hits and huge impacts from the middle linebacker spot but nobody could play and move like he did at his size. Like a poster said above he is 11th all time in tackles, made 8 Pro Bowls, and played on one of the most consistently strong defenses of the past decade. It's okay to take off your meatball glasses sometimes. |

And don't compare the Bulls to the bullshit that the bad boys used to pull day in and day out. I want Michigan to be at least a 2 seed. I think they're nearly assured of that if they just make it to the BTT final on Sunday. Otherwise, depending on other conference tournaments, I would start to worry about dropping to the 3 seed line for the NCAA tournament. |

I am starting to question Beilein's coaching approach for big games and road games. UM does not show up and become one dimensional through Burke. And don't tell me about how young this team is; they just got beat by the worst team in the conference. The fact that PSU took over the game after being down 15 is inexcusable. It seems to me that UM was content to sit around the rest of the game instead of continuing to attack. I hope that Beilein realizes his team isn't good enough to go into cruise control at any time during a game and adjusts his strategy accordingly.
