|1 week 3 days ago||Not diminishing your recovery at all...||
As it takes an awful lot of dedication and hard work to get back to that kind of strength in 8 months - but running a half marathon is a lot different than playing a contact sport with constant cutting. The sheer force exerted on the ACL playing football with 250+ lb guys flying around is 1000% greater than running long distance. It's the sheer force that you really have to worry about with ACL.
Not sure how it was for you, but for me the box jump landings and balancing movements on the leg were much harder mentally and physically then the running.
|1 week 3 days ago||This.||
So much this. The mental aspect of ACL recovery is with out a doubt the hardest part. You body naturally learns to stop performing functions that will strongly effect the ACL and you won't even realize it. You will jump and land differently, run with a altered stride, and cut at a different angle. It is very, VERY hard to return back to normal from the mental aspect. I tore my ACL 2 years ago and still catch myself sometimes.

Horford and Morgan really need to learn to just let the other guy take a bad shot and NOT FOUL throughout the game!
|6 weeks 5 days ago||Congrats to him!||
I'm curious as to why it has taken so long to offer?!
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Just make sure to tailor expectations a bit...||
Can a new OC invigorate an offense, hell yes. Look at Auburn this year. Does Nuss showing up on campus automatically add 30 lbs to each of our (very, VERY young OL), hell no. It will take time to turn into a grinding offense, but it certainly seems to be going in the right direction.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Agreed...||
I believe I read somewhere on mgoblog before that his High School coach and Borges were very close. I hope that bad blood doesn't trickle down to Harris (if there is any). We can only speculate until we hear something.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||I have been critical as well.||
This is great content. Reminds me of the old days. +1 sir!
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Serious Question||
Do we expect this to affect any of our commited recruits? (but YAY!!!)
|10 weeks 1 day ago||:(||
Me too buddy. The only redemption is that I didn't quite grasp how monumental a loss it was at the time.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||I'm ready for some -||
|12 weeks 2 days ago||Mobile Stream?||
|13 weeks 2 days ago||I'm not really||
Concerned about my posts being hidden or missing out here because of this, my general point was that when the voting comes back it should be made apparent that you shouldn't down vote something just because you don't agree with the viewpoint. The point system should be used more so to hide the useless trash.
|13 weeks 3 days ago||However,||
The one thing to be careful about with neg's is that it can definitely lead to group thinking. I've seen plenty of valid counter arguments (respectful disagreements) that get completely hidden because the majority doesn't agree. The arguments are what make for great debates. Brian and Space Cowboy's back and forth views were great (although I still disagree with Brian completely calling him out, but hey - it's his site).
Neg's should only be used for personal attacks, useless replies, or harmful information posted.

Placing the players numbers next to their names on the chart would REALLY help out users like myself who are not as familiar. Love the UFRs though.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||You've captured my thoughts perfectly.||
I could not have stated this better myself.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||Don't make mGrowOld's||
Wife come beat you up. She's in really good shape!
|15 weeks 5 days ago||Without a doubt...||
To me at least, that is the ideal offense. Not gimmicky but diverse as hell.
|16 weeks 2 days ago||Stream?||
Anyone have a stream that would work on mobile?
|16 weeks 3 days ago||Obviously my response isn't going to add much...||
but it's not a whole fucking new thread. That's the point. This whole thread you started was dumb - "Well I was right about my theory with kids talking to me, but I didn't listen to my theory this time around. I'll do better next time guys."
And you still haven't given your thoughts as to why he went quiet and chose Bama, which would have been a 100% better topic to discuss.
Edit: I'd like to say that I appreciate what BB does. And he has been right in the past (most of the time). This downward sipral of MGoBlog is sickening though and threads like this don't add anything. Look how many "appreciation" threads there are. Hell, there is an "appreciation of the Appreciation Appreciation thread) there.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||?||
So what's the point of this post? To say you were wrong but you'll not let your heart get in the way the next time? That's what I'm not getting? It adds nothing to the board.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Seriously...||
So BB created a post of "I knew it all along guys"? Awesome. Internet pat on the back. He could have least given us his honest opinion on why he went quiet.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Yes||
This would be very helpful.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Personally,||
I took it as Brian feeling threatened. This whole post could have perfectly supported his views about putting players in positions to not suceed without naming SC.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||I admire your dedication.||
Typing all of that on a DROID - impressive my man.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Does this seem||
Creepy as hell to anyone else? - "my family and I will see you when the team comes to So Cal."
|16 weeks 6 days ago||If you really are a mom...||
I feel so sad for your child's teachers.
|17 weeks 5 days ago||This board...||
has reached an all time low in the 7 years I've been following it. It really is just sad at this point.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Denard was just listed as #2 RB on Jags||
Thought it was worth sharing. I wonder if it will mean anything.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Something that would be really interesting...||
Would be if you could do follow up interviews with players once they have commited. Assuming that players are ok (i.e. you ask permission) I'd love to hear about why they specifically chose Michigan over other schools, or the opposite. I get the normal "good academics" and I get that sometimes it's something that can really be described, but... I'm sure sometimes it can be one thing.
For example: "After talking with Michigan Offeree X, I feel that he chose School X because it was too important for the players family to watch him play every Saturday in person".
"Player X said flat out that he thought Coach X at the other school spent more time with his players and prepares them better for the NFL".
Afterthoughts are something that I think people on this board would really enjoy.
|20 weeks 6 days ago||Dumb Question||
But wouldn't Lewan be a super right tackle in this formation?
