1. Hawaiian cheerleaders. Ohh, man.
2. She mentions Bo doesn't age, but what about Mike Patrick? Is it possible he's a vampire?
3. So many of my all-time favorites are on that team - Harbaugh, Bob Perryman, Jamie Morris, Greg McMurtry, Mike Gillette, Dieter Heren, Mark Messner, Paul Jokisch
4. Harbaugh was such an underrated option runner
5. If you ever wondered about Harbaugh's sideline antics, check out Bo's freakout on McMurtry's "drop". Why was Bo so mad about that missed call? There's no way he saw it as a catch since it was opposite him, and McMurtry did bobble the ball. That was obviously a, "it's 3-3 against Hawaii? I've got to do something to fire up the troops" moment.
6. The sun is very bright in Hawaii.
7. THE WISHBONE!!!
8. Our O-line was moving the line of scrimmage a good 2-3 yards on every play. I guess the Hawaiians hadn't discovered the Samoans yet.

FWIW, Brandon has been spotted silently patrolling the halls of a Toys R Us.

After Delany poisons Brandon, Brandon squeezes Delany's head until his eyes pop out. We take out two birds with one gladatorial combat.

If the choice is between being labeled a hypocrite while having a son with a healthy brain or maintaining a consistent moral philosophy while either exposing my son to possible brain damage or my giving up watching football, I'll choose the former every time.
By the way, my son plays baseball, basketball and badminton. Yep, he's only allowed to play sports that start with, "ba." It's an odd rule, but it's worked for us so far.

that's because they haven't tried Autocracy Now's meth. There's a reason Walter White took the southwest by storm. That blue shit was the bomb.

but I have one question, did they go to Mendy's? For $2100, they obviously ordered more than the soup.
|5 days 21 hours ago||ESPN commentators||
I counted 461 commentators employed by ESPN at this site:
There are only 8760 hours in a year. That's an average of 19 hours per commentator. Even if you throw 2 in the booth at any one time and spread them across 4 channels, we're still only talking 152 hours. How can I get me one of those jobs? I'm pretty sure I can talk nonsensically about sports for 19 hours a year.
I would expect more consolidation (fewer people) as we move forward. They can start by getting rid of STEPHEN A. SMITH and Skip Bayless.

Are you suggesting that Beth Mowins is a Pam Ward clone? Because I'd suggest the opposite is true.

sofa king great!
|6 days 19 hours ago||The system is certainly flawed||
but when you bring in a high school student who hasn't done anything yet at the college level, what should you pay him? Not every 5* lives up to the hype and expectations. If a guy never starts or contributes on Saturday, has he not gotten more benefit from his scholarship than the University has gotten from him as a player?
So let's take this another step. Joe College comes in, starts as a freshman and has demonstrated that he is giving more to the University than what he gets back via scholarship, training, training table, tutoring, etc. So then UofM should pay him? But he's already in school. You would have to allow unlimited transfers for the player to adequately market his services to the top bidder. Even the NFL doesn't do that. They require X years minimum service before you can become a free agent, if you are drafted by a team.
So this is unfair to the athletes who are generating jersey sales and advertising dollars that are feeding the beast (coaches, administration, athletic departments.) What happens to that kid? He gets drafted by the NFL and signs a contract for $XM, some of that guaranteed, some of that in the form of a signing bonus, before he has done a thing for the team. It's almost as if he's being compensated for his years of indentured servitude at the collegiate level.
I'm all for freedom and free market principles; however, I also appreciate the apprenticeship style of talent development, probably because I went through that system. When I was a GSRA at UofM many years ago, I made $14K a year. As soon as I graduated and got a job in the real world, I was making 5 times that amount. Was I any differently abled because I had that degree? No, I just was able to demonstrate that I had succeeded in a rigorous environment and would be a good hire. The parallels to the university varsity athlete are apparent to me. Maybe that's why I'm not so upset about the current system. Prove it first, and then get paid. Proving it in high school is not enough for me.
|6 days 19 hours ago||saw that episode||
It was brutal. Is Detroit really that bad? They made it look like a war-torn third world country. I also recently saw him go to Chicago. That wasn't much better. But the food is great!
|6 days 21 hours ago||The biggest con||
I start associating the team with the advertisement on the jersey. For example, I don't call LA's professional soccer team the LA Galaxy. To me, they are the Herbalife team.

Brian's got a kid now. We've got to keep those ad dollars pouring in for li'l Denard Cook's college fund.

Personally, I like the split M, for the same reason as Mad Hatter - it's something I grew up with. My first wool winter hat had the split M logo on it.
|1 week 22 hours ago||Good episode||
I thought the episode started off strong. It then took a detour to the Iron Islands, something I don't really care about, but then it came back to Dany and ended strong. So I thought it was a good episode, and then they showed the preview for next week and I realized why I thought it was good - NO ARYA!
Sorry, I just don't care about her storyline at all. She may be key to the final showdown somehow by assassinating someone, but until we get there she's just an annoying clam seller all by herself and has no connection to the rest of the story.
