Your suggestions are good. We're looking at #1 in order to shorten the process. I'm going to look at the data before implementing to see how frequently people vote circularly (e.g., A > B, B > C, C > A).
Also, were you on a mobile device? There are twitter and facebook buttons on the page, but realized that they're not showing on mobile. I'll fix this.
Thank you for the feedback. Because of the tight deadline, this was pulled together over 24 hours so there are a lot of features we'd like to add.
We're looking at expanding to top 25 and will update the site once we figure out how to do well. We will also roll this out for college hoops before March Madness and again before next football season.
In order to make the match ups as favorable as possible for conference teams, we've gone ahead and assumed they've already won and included this into their record.
We will refresh the data tomorrow after all of the games.
