Sparty Personified?  So what

Sparty Personified?  So what does that make this thread?

Yes, one Sparty made a stupid comment.  I couldn't care less that he did, because that's not how most Sparty fans feel right now.

But get down off your high snarky horse, and realize that you're commenting in a thread that includes many more stupid M fan comments.  How about you just worry about Michigan football beating PSU.

Is Northwestern D-1AA?

Is Northwestern D-1AA?

Amen, SpartanDan.

I almost always respect the author's opinions and analysis, but when it comes to MSU, he's developing a serious complex, an almost dantonio-esque complex.  To insinuate that the Juggalo represents MSU is asinine.  I'm sure he knows as well as I do that it's a good bet that those Juggalos are bandwagon idiots, and probably were "Huge" Michigan fans when their teams were superior (and will be Michigan fans again the next time UM pulls off a 3+ game streak).  Hell, half of the Wayne County Michigan fans convert to MSU fans for basketball season.  Group pride is rooted in insecurity.

Conversely, this is the representation of the "typical" Michigan fan, a character which I saw no less than 15 times in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

By the way, I would bet he's dipping regular strength vagisil right now.  Poor and Stupid.

Get Real

Please don't tell me you will bunch every Spartan fan in with these idiots.  This behavior, in my opinion, is the exception to the rule.  I would not attempt to do the same to the Wolverine (or any other) fanbase.

Because one person made a T-shirt or Billboard or whatever, this does not mean it is the typical thought process of your average Sparty fan.

I will say though, that as a Spartan fan, I am thoroughly embarrassed that our OFFICIAL athletic website is selling this shit.  Pathetic.

The win was great, and it is a step in the right direction, but it doesn't erase the UM domination of this rivalry.

Hmmmm.

Talk about PSU whining about 2 seconds, when the majority of UM fans still whine about the MSU clock operator @ the 2001 MSU-UM game.  Your own shirt remembers this game as a Michigan win.  Hypocritical if you ask me.

 1.  MSU called a timeout on the final drive before realizing that a flag was down on the play.  The TO was never credited back to MSU.

2.  Jeremy LeSeur kept the drive alive by dropping an MSU receiver (nowhere near the ball) on an incomplete 4th down pass that would have ended the game with MSU around midfield.

But I'm sure you'll go over this next week when you publish a "We Own MSU retrospective" to make yourself feel better.
