The Michigan Pronunciation Guide that the Athletic Department includes in the weekly Game Notes publication for the media says Toussaint's last name is pronounced "Two-SAHNT." The final "T" is apparently not silent.
It's the Nude Mile. I ran it the first 6 years. I was a rower, but it was majority track and cross country runners in the first few years. I understand why it died, given the cops and cameras. But I'm still disappointed that students don't find creative ways the keep the tradition alive. I would love to hear that there were small groups of streakers wearing masks on campus in the Spring. Good times.
But I'm starting to get frustrated that good questions aren't really being answered. That said, I concede that expecting him to have a lot of answers a few days after his hiring is unreasonable.
