Switch the fear ratings of Maryland and Illinois, though. Maryland has played ok this year. Illinois has been terrible.

He'll just run right past him and kill the guy with the ball.

Wisconsin's O is meh but their D is legit, and Sparty's O isn't nearly as good as ND's leaky D made it look.

Their defense is too good. They could slip past Bama with a few breaks.
|1 week 5 days ago||emergency||
They might have decided that they were only going to play him if someone got hurt and the game was still in doubt.

struggle to single cover WRs deep. I don't know how much I blame Hill for what happened there.
Up to that point the defense seemed to have adjusted, as we had stuffed Colorado on 4 straight possessions.

The Fargodome is too small for an FBS team, and the fan/alumni base does not have the money to fund a big new stadium.

With the Hanson brothers rotating at tailback, there's no way we can lose.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||not only that||
They lost their one difference maker (DeForest Buckner) and had to replace all their starting LBs. Of course their 2015 LB starters weren't great, but they were ahead of the new starters on the 2015 depth chart.

Tying for second on Known Friends should be worth 1.5 points, not 1. Third place is worth 1, and tying for second should be better than finishing third. (I suppose if two guys tie for second no one should get third.)

He looks smaller than his listed weight of 200, but he has game. He didn't look like a true freshman going up against college dudes for the first time.

Their population is smaller than Ann Arbor's. Not the county, just Ann Arbor. They aren't rich like Iceland either.

When I read that I thought "I hope he's right about that one". Even if we're just talking about the season average as opposed to the end of the season, it's a bit optimistic to assume that an unproven player who's been riding the bench will be about as good as an above-average starter.

More like "chuck it up in Braylon's general vicinity". That year, the definition of a well-thrown ball was one where you could say "Braylon can work with that".
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Sundhage was the US coach for||
Sundhage was the US coach for only one World Cup, in 2011. The US didn't win.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Sweden didn't outplay the US||
The US had more possession, more shots, and more shots on goal. A tie game was a fair result. A shootout is just a coin flip.
The US couldn't beat Sweden last year in the World Cup either. This team always wins either the World Cup or the Olympics, but not both.

We have a bunch of DL/LB types wearing inappropriate numbers like 1, 2, and 3 when no one is wearing 60, 61, 62, 64, 66, 69, 94, 95, or 97.

Stars are a good indication of how good a prospect a player appears to be, and thus an appropriate way to compare classes of recruits who haven't been coached up yet.
|13 weeks 3 days ago||yeah, this looks like a bit of a mismatch||
I don't think the North and the Vale are going to get involved, because they're busy prepping for the zombie horde invasion. Otherwise, yeah. What's left of the regime is up against Dany's hordes and dragons, Dorne, the Reach, half of the Iron Islands, and most of the Riverlands. Who does Cersei have left to ally with? Euron?

The Hound is also a younger brother. But he's with the Brotherhood, who have no real reason to go to King's Landing.

As far as anyone but Bran, Howland Reed, and the midwife (if she's still alive) know, he's Ned's son. But even if people recognize Rhaegar as the father, it was out of wedlock so Dany has the stronger claim as Aerys' legitimate child.
The head of a house can legitimize bastards, as Roose did for Ramsay. If Dany did that for Jon I think he would then have the stronger claim, so that's a no. It's possible that she could legitimize him in her will if she would rather be succeeded by him than by whoever else would be next in line.

One of my all time favorites and of course the inspiration for the Magnificent 7, but it's stretching the definition of a Western a bit.

Jon blew it, Ramsay blew it, but Sansa nailed it.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||it's not so much that Jon is stupid||
His original plan was decent, but seeing Rickon caused him to go full lizard brain and flip out. It seems plausible to me that he could lose a lot of self-control after being revived from the dead.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||she only sent a raven||
She had no way to know Littlefinger was coming at that point. Still, if she had mentioned it Jon might have been less likely to flip out after Ramsay killed Rickon.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||nah||
That issue is still easy enough to get around in any number of ways.
1. As far as everyone knows, Jon is Ned's son, not Rhaegar's. His ruler can easily legitimize him, as Stannis offers to do in the books. If it turns out to be more convenient for the people calling the shots to legitimize him as a Targaryen, that's what will happen instead.
2. Houses don't need male heirs to continue. Lyanna Mormont is Maege Mormont's daughter; her father is unknown. Sansa or Arya could just do the same thing Maege did.
3. Bran and Benjen are probably impotent, but no one can prove this. They could marry and have Jon impregnate their wives, and no one would be able to tell the difference.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Ramsay bungled the campaign||
He completely failed to track thousands of Vale horsemen moving up from the Neck. Even with that, he might have been able to salvage the battle if he had left some of his own force in reserve. He especially could have used his cavalry, which he squandered by having his archers fire indiscriminately into the melee of his men and Jon's.
