ND Friday, UM yesterday, OSU today. ...and I believe he wants to make an early commitment before his senior season.
Buckle up

The "buckle up" referance is a joke to on of TomVH's wrong predictions, i cant remember which recruit in particular - but I remember days later the joke was "can I unbuckle?" So who cares what Tremendous facebook page "means" - as if anyone other than the kid actually knows, with 100% certainity, if a commitment will occur.

Either way - hoping for a commitment. Also, there is talk on some boards about potential good news on the basketall front coming soon - so we will see if that plays out.

My psn tag is My psn tag is "Cafe-Nasty"....
Dibbs! I want a spot, I don't care what teams or settings. Please hold be a spot and send me an email ... [email protected]. if we do a pac12 though dibbs on rich rod and Arizona!
??

Anyone know somewhere to listen to the game for free online?

The rumblings...

... are starting to sound more and more likely that O'Daniel will be a much tougher pull that expected, he just had a good visit to Clemson who he is also very high on,.

Also hearing the staffs' interest is not nearly as high as the other 3 linebackers. O'Daniel is basically the same linebacker as Ross from 2012 and we were interested in O'Daniel and Fuller duo (and pulling Fuller from Va Tech is as likely as getting stealing the third plumlee brother from Duke)

If we land land McCray and Gedeon we will hold a spot for Levenburry (5* talent) and we should be very happy about that. All three of those LB's offer something slightly different, and they have the impressive size at the position that we didn't have in 2012.

My guess is we land all three, I hope we do it quick and move on to the next positions. The current guess is that this class will be around 23 ish, sure "rankings" don't matter but you have to be excited that how "the team" is shaping up.

I would like to see a Penn

I would like to see a Penn State night game.

Flamebait? really?

It was conversation bait. Thanks for blocking it out, I guess I will explain myself:

"He'll be offered on his visit this weekend." [assumption, lacks reasoning (although highly likely, yes)]

"It was only a matter of time until this guy blew up." [Assumption]

"He is totally legit."  [Reasoning for assumption. I hope U of M gets all of the totally legit players for 2013.]

If he improves his footwork & pass blocking aspect of his game. [Thanks, These are (generally) the two areas of improvement for every OL prospect, even more so for juniors]

He could shoot up the rankings. [Rankings? These are the earliest released rankings, ever.  Rankings are usually influenced by their offers sheet and most of these kids don't have half of the number offers they will have by the start of summer.

Since when is posting one's thoughts flamebait. Nothing I wrote was irrerational. We (myself included) spend a lot of time praising aquaman for his work. But sorry  for expecting slightly more insightful posts from someone who has one on one interaction with the recruits. Again, I am a fan aquaman and enjoy watching you "build your rep."

From a fan...

.. aquaman I am having some difficulties with your last statement. I have an issue with literally every sentence. I just thought i would let you know this, because normally I am a fan of your work and think your a nice spark to a down site #nohomo.

Williams signed his LOI with

Williams signed his LOI with Auburn, not sure about Croom. Doubtful.

Ha he is a junior in highschool?

Ha he is a junior in highschool? He has a summer, a fulll season and an additional summer to add extra highschool weight? Sounds like a solid SDE in a 4-3 or a 3-4.

Don't forget

.. Su'a Cravens #20... he holds three offers, early 5 star on rivals..recently said Michigan will get an official visit.

Needed that.

..now what about Hightower? That would return almost no experienced linebackers if he leaves too.

Good for Gary Danielson.

Good for Gary Danielson.

Nice stuff aqua, its quality

Nice stuff aqua, its quality work.. keep it up.

That'd be sweet

...I'd like for him and Tate to transfer there. Rich Rod is getting the band back together.

Transitioned form Sparty to Wolverine

Never was really a college football fan, I was a basketball player (and soccer) in highschool, so I was always a Tom Izzo fan, and I remember rooting for Drew Stanton in the game went he got injured.

But then as I started becoming a college football junkie, I realized I liked Michigan, a lot. About three years ago, I went to East Lansing for the Michigan vs. Michigan State game, and repped the Maize and Blue colors, like Sting ripping off the white and black nWo shirt and revealing a wolfpack shirt underneath it.

Now today, I am over the top go blue in every sport, I need to find something else I can talk about ha.

Watch for the team theme to

Watch for the team theme to shift from dreads to flow as we shift players recruited by the different coaching staffs. There are a few players and commited recruits who have the potential for some flow.

Aces up your sleeve.... i see

Aces up your sleeve.... i see what your trying to do here. Nice.

Then you get these comments

Then you get these comments agreeing with the poster, mgouser Blue in Yarmouth comment: "It looks like this guy is just as much behind the 8ball as RR."

O'Brien is 100x more behind the 8ball then RR, he isn't even on the table.

I didn't miss the point, alot

I didn't miss the point, alot of people are making it, Greenie said the same thing this morning on Mike&Mike

Any alumni who is so blind that they are actually  angry with the "outside the family" hire, is just as ignorant as the dumb 18 year old who riotted after JoePa fired.

This was an istitutional issue from the top down, and not a recruiting violation one, but a child molestation issue. You have to dump house, and go a different way and sell people on a "New Penn State."

The issue with O'Brien is that he is from "outside the family" and unqualified. You can't be both, and thats why the alumni are angry and it will be very interesting to watch going forward.

I don't even need to read

I don't even need to read this whole garabage post to disagree with it.

Michigan's coaching search (RR) and PSU's are in no way similar, other than the fact that they are two long established schools searching for a new coach.

The PSU scandal is unlike any issue in the history of sports, let alone college, or college football.

You have to imagine that those "PSU guys" didn't want the job after what has happened, who would?

Get out of here... The fact

Get out of here... The fact that Joe Bolden was named 1 of 2 team captains and is in on almost every play, already has a couple TFL makes it well worth the watch. Hopefully Garnett does go blue though.

Richardson on the other hand... struggling a bit

Just started watching.. is he

Just started watching.. is he playing RT??

I can't even accurately

I can't even accurately decribe what I felt when they cut to the sign. I hated it. I hated it in 100 different ways. If any of you four involved are reading this blog, please know that I hate you.

Making a sign about a team were not playing, a team that has beat us the last four years? and one that isn't even our primary rival? Thanks for making our fanbase look small and weak on a very national level.

Right...

Oh ... cool.

Fact: BCS Bowl wins help the state of a program.

Sure, there have been almost hundreds of situations like the ones you have mentioned, sure you can say the bowl games don't mean squat, which they really don't, and that there should be a playoff.

But Brady Hoke does things the right way, and under the current college football structure, the goal is to win BCS Bowl games, we did that this year, in a "transition" year, and that is good for the program and will hopefully translate into a positive off season (ie: recruits, returners working harder, system familiarity etc...)

Forgive me for thinking positive. Hail.

I don't know I saw high hands

I don't know I saw high hands quite frequently. It is a whole different football game when you are going against a 6'6" QB. Can't expect to see many balls blocked at the line.

Relax, that is for a

Relax, that is for a different day.

Stop with the negative thoughts, think of something sweet... like bathing in sugar.

Go Blue from D-town. #BeatVaTech

Appreciate the info, even if

Appreciate the info, even if he does end up at MSU, we trust you ha.

I haven't heard anything on the MSU side, but on the UM side..

Fact: It will be a speedy process as per Arnett. The UM staff has interest, but will wait until after the bowl game to reach out to him. (as they should)

Rumors: People form UT believe he has been in talks with MSU for a while, people in the state of Michigan believe he wants UM and will end up there.

Rivals analyst Chris and Tim both hint that they like UM's chances.

Looks good.

Nice film, looks like a real solid 2* or low 3*, nice.

Mr. Fuller, huh? Hope the in

Mr. Fuller, huh? Hope the in school went well.

Were not..

... were not dropping ND, they are dropping us. We share an unfair relationship, in this hectic time of college restructuring for ND not to joing the BIG is just a slap in the face after they ride the coat tail of the BIG.

Michigan playing a team from the SEC or something like that in the begining of the college football season like that will be good for college footbal, the BIG, and good for Michigan.

My down the road prediction is (possibly after State following suit) that this leads to ND joining the BIG in a year or two, and placed in our conference.

#doit.

#doit.

Garnett, Garnett, Garnett,

Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett, Garnett.

I hope bby now you are picking up on the trend of who I would like to see go blue.

Kalis, Magnuson, Garnett, Bars, Braden....its a dream.

DGB is Visiting??

Sweet!

Who said he has regressed?

Who said he has regressed? Because of the one "average" showing in the combine the other day?

He only had two under average games this year, against Orchard Lake (meh) and against Cass Tech, the school we take a defensive player or two from every year.

He still has good to 5star footwork, smarts, athleticism, a huge arm, and wait until he is throwing to the recievers at Michigan.

Regressed... pssh.

Wrong Sub-thread..

...The trio of Kyle Kalis, Eric Magnuson, and Josh Garnette is mouth watering.

I would argue Fitz can easily

I would argue Fitz can easily be a top 3 B1G back next year?  Why shouldn't he be, a Junior RB, seeing the bulk of the carries.. look for him to get more comfortable and confident and less designed QB runs to be called for Denard. He too will get comfortable in his 2nd year in the system and his rush yard will come from scrambles, as we have seen.

:)

2012 Heisman Winner: Denard Robinson - University of Michigan.

2012 Heisman Winner: Fitzgerald Touissant - University of Michigan.

... look me in the face and tell me I'm wrong, ha.

OSU is on their way to having

OSU is on their way to having quite the class come signing day? December 26th can't come soon enough, sanctions anybody?

I'll have both please.

I'll have both please.

Double post

There is a huge difference.

There is a huge difference. When PB commits, the coaches stop recruiting that position, there is a trust that has to be between both of them. Its not that they dont wany PB, but if he is gna visit other schools, they are gna consider him uncommitted, and continue to recruit the TE position. It is just a good way to go about business.

Dunn on the other hand, is just a RB we are (were) recruiting? That fact that he is committed else where has littled to do with the coaches policy on commits.

I would love to get PB back in the class, he was the most athletic commit on the board, IMO and will do huge things as a 6-6 TE, especially after he puts on some throwing around weight.

Hahahahah

... "making sure he stays blue" .... dumb.

And no...

Top level rival 4 stars are 5 stars on scout. But it balances out because everyone and the grandma (besides Chris Wormley) are 4 stars on rivals.

Brionte is a 4*-5* back, ... probably a 4* at Osu, but would be considered a 5* for us, with our offense scheme and O line.

Dee Hart was the reason I

Dee Hart was the reason I started following recruiting, and the reason I am an addict today. Although the writing was on the wall for a bit, he was the recruit I was most excited about, and hurt when he left.

As for Brionte, good for him. We are still going to get good players, we do not need Brionte, it just would have been nice to swipe one more buckeye, just for bragging rights.

TO HOKE & CO: Go out and get Garnette, it won't matter who the RB is in the future.

.. and he sounds like he is

.. and he sounds like he is SEC - all day.

He is a member of the ESPN

He is a member of the ESPN 150 Watchlist...  Not the actual ESPN 150, because that isn't out yet, correct?

If true, you may want to make a quick edit just to avoid confusion

...

It is unfortunate that the skit does not make you laugh one time. Where did you go SNL, I miss you.
