"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "It's great for the program, too. It shows what type of program the University of Michigan is and the direction it continues to go in."

Didn't see who posted this. I am surprised you know that movie.
|8 weeks 6 days ago||Old||
We are old. No recruit would even get the reference.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||McGary||
I read McGary was invited but declined. He said his back was better but still not 100% so he didn't want to go through testing etc.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||Room||
How do they have room for the four guys they are bringing in? Did they have senior scholorship players that graduated? I thought they were coutning on everyone going pro to have enough room for their incoming class.
|13 weeks 4 days ago||I think it is a recent thing||
I had the exact same feeling re: West Coast fans when I moved to LA in 2001. Maybe it is because I have been on the West Coast for so long now or because I am older, but I view our (UM's) fans differently than I did when I first graduated. When I have gone back for games I thought UM fans were fair weathery
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Can't remember specifically||
I can't remember specifically, but I seem to recall paying something right around $100 for student season tickets in 2007. (The numbers $86 and $105 stick in my head by not sure if either is correct).
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Change in non-student ticket policy||
Isn't this where the change in non-student ticket policy comes back to bite them (based on donations rather than waiting list).
In the old days, when season tickets were based on a 7+ year waiting list, there is no way you would cancel your season tickets even if that season or a couple of seasons were going to be crappy because you would not be able to get the tickets back for close to a decade.
But now that they are based on donation amount, what is to stop people from canceling this year, knowing that they have enough donation credits built up to just buy season tickets next year when the schedule is better.
Seems like the new policy makes the ability to cancel/re-up much easier and really hurts the sales in off years such as this.
Or am I missing something about the priority list/buying process?
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Seems like||
It certainly seems like this year a student could forgo season tickets, buy each and every game on the secondary market and pay way less than $300. As you say PSU may be more than face (then again if things are going poorly, that game is going to be cheap too). But tickets for the other games will be what $5? Free for some? I bet you could get student tickets for the 6 non-PSU games for a total of $100 or less and spend less than the $200 remaining on PSU.
My guess- secondary market for the whole season student ticket is around $200 total.
|14 weeks 4 days ago||I too||
I too was a little surprised he picked that play as an example. On that play (against ND) Gardner executed a play fake, took a 7 (?) step drop, stepped up and passed the ball and the DE Lewan was blocking was still 5-7 feet from Gardner. That seems like a lot of time to give your QB.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||Other Schools||
Any idea what other schools he is looking at/considering? I've heard his discussed around here quite a bit, but have never heard whomelse he is considering.

Care to share that recipe? (And yes I am serious)
|19 weeks 4 days ago||Ryan||
Lots of coaching to Jake Ryan in those clips.
|24 weeks 4 days ago||Do people||
Do people still think McGary and GR3 are turning pro after this year? I have basically decided (at this point, it could change) that I don't think either will. At this point neither probably has a first round grade- probably both on the cusp in this loaded draft.
|26 weeks 2 days ago||First paragraph||
I really agree with your first paragraph. Player development is something that is recognized by high school and AAU coaches and even player (regardless of their level). I think the best example is that center out in Vegas who is a top 5 player in 2015(?). He has repeatedly said one of the major reasons he is interested in Michigan is because of how Mitch McGary played and was used last year during the tourney. He said since they have similar games he was stuck by how much McGary developed and that really made him interested in Michigan.

More than just a route runner?
|43 weeks 13 hours ago||Ross||
Its actually Ross trailing the receiver on that play, not Countess. I think Ross has a pretty tough time picking it off, might get a hnad on the ball (if well thrown) but a tough pick. I think Wilson hits the man on that play and breaks up any completion, but he too would have a hard time getting in front for the int.
|44 weeks 9 hours ago||I'm in the same boat||
Honestly, who in the Bay Area cares about UT and/or KSU?
|44 weeks 1 day ago||Sorry on app so can't edit.||
Was actually 41 point spread
|44 weeks 1 day ago||Not true||
Stanford over USC was a 42 point spread
|47 weeks 3 days ago||Spence||
Wasn't Noah spence an Urban recruit? If so, then yes. He is as elite S any of those guys. He is going to be a monster. Good thing we have recruited the o-line well

Do you get to take the trip as well?
|48 weeks 5 days ago||Buckle Up||
Obviously he is committing to Michigan before the class fills up.
|49 weeks 6 days ago||But,||
will he cooperate with the NCAA?
|51 weeks 9 hours ago||Not sure what your kids like||
but there is a children's musem that is pretty nice. Obviously not UM football related, but if you are looking for kid friendly activities that will make them like AA thats a good pick.
|51 weeks 1 day ago||Two thoughts:||
1) Where are all the "touchdown" graphics? How am I supposed to know whether or not he scored on every touch if there isn't a graphic?
2) He really needs to work on his arm and throwing motion if he wants to be our starting QB. That pass was woefully underthrown to a wide open WR.
|51 weeks 1 day ago||And now they should start talking about UM speed||
We now have Peppers the track star, Campbell the fastest man at the Opening (as a sophmore) and Harris who reportedly runs a 4.3 40 (3 fakes out of 5-->probably a mid 4.4 guy if I had a guess).
It is no longer SEC speed, it is UM speed.
|51 weeks 2 days ago||Under||
I think 1 (Crawford). Would be more surprised if there were 2 rather than zero.
|1 year 6 days ago||I don't even get it||
I don't get "ShitOhio." Shouldn't it be Ohio Shit?
I can't beleive I am even commenting on this. Must be that kind of day...
|1 year 1 week ago||I can't vouch that||
I obviously can't vouch anything past 2012, but he played as PSU in our dynasty (obviously a much better team than Toledo) and I think he won every game against the computer by more than 100 the first year- I think just to show he could.
