A couple of mini Sparty juggalos seem intent on spoiling the weekend by WALKING ALL OVER MY LAWN. I hope they get poison ivy. No Internet or cable, so no way to keep up with M softball. I'll be looking here for updates. |

Can there really be a fact about how long a shoreline is? My brain is getting sore. |

You better get there to watch. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | I hear ya |
Many coaches trust their gut. You should invent some advanced softball stats. |

is known as a great slap coach. Looks like it this inning. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | What's up |
and who is pitching that other game? |
| 1 week 6 days ago | Sorry |
I'm always trying to help out the pitcher. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | In retrospect |
The error was a killer. 5 runs unearned? |
| 1 week 6 days ago | Good call because it worked out. |
Dreisenga had managed to get through similar situations all game. The lead runner was on with an error. The hit looked like duck snort to me. For most coaches I have known- lesser personages than Hutch- they would wait until the game was tied to make the change. Hutch put it all on herself by making the change at that time, and on Wagner coming in with a ton of pressure. Maybe because Michigan does not have a true ace, but an A and an A1, she has more confidence to change earlier? I still wonder, when they get in the big tournament if one of them will get the ace treatment. (edit) I looked up the Nebraska series boxscores, as a small sample size for instance: Game 1, Dreisenga starts, Wagner relieves down 0-2, M loses 6-1 (pitching change does not work so well.) Game 2: Wagner starts, falls behind 0-3 after 5, no pitching change, M wins (ace treatment?), Game 3, Dreisenga starts (ace treatment, starting 2 of 3 in key series?), pitching change in 6th with 4-2 lead, M loses 4-7. I like the way the pitching change worked out last night, but I don't know what I would do next time in the same circumstance. |

All's well that ends well. Tough call with the late pitching change, but that is why she gets the big bucks. |
| 2 weeks 17 hours ago | Went, not so well |
but it was fun. No clue about regionals. |
| 2 weeks 18 hours ago | M v OSU |
starting now. Video on Nebraska website. |
| 2 weeks 19 hours ago | It would be awsome |
to play in Ann Arbor! Good luck to her. |
| 2 weeks 20 hours ago | Daughter #2 came home from college last night. |
So good to have her home for the summer. Watching Big Ten sb tournament right now (Go Blue). Driving daughter #1 next week from LA to SF to help her move in to her apartment, hiking some Big Sur en route. She will get to see some America's Cup practice during her summer internship there. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | Q for MGS: |
Dreisenga is 1st team and Wagner is second team. One has a better era and the other has a better W/L record. When crunch time comes, which one will Hutch treat as the ace? |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | Proud of them |
Proud of them . |

is appalling. |
| 2 weeks 5 days ago | Stick up for your pitcher. |
The call they never get is when a body part gets hit in the strike zone. It is not safe to give up the inside to the batter. Sometimes the only thing to do is to be "effectively wild". |
| 2 weeks 5 days ago | You should know. |
That's a pitcher doing her job, right? Drill them in the posterior. Don't hurt them, and don't give up the tater. |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | 16-1 today. |
Championships become them. |

told him all about Michigan academics. |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | Maybe you were in my seat. |
I was at a swim meet. Missed the relays to hear the wretched ending in my car out in the parking lot. I was there when CW had a rose in his teeth, though. For a while Dugan Fife had seats there that he did not much use. |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | 20 years in end zone Row B |
Sure, sometimes I was right in the backfield, or right behind the secondary. I never complained, because you don't see what you don't see. Only now, as BTN plays the Greatest Games am I beginning to see what I missed. Thank goodness for Section 24 now. PS: I can't get to OSU. What are my seats worth? |
| 3 weeks 5 days ago | Not feeling great |
that the tournament is back in Lincoln. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | Something is rotten in Westwood. |
You couldn't hope for a more beautiful campus, great sb facility, great academics, perfect weather. That's where I would go. Just off the top of my head, they should have Emily Lockman, Kelani Ricketts, Lauren Sweet, and Sierra Romero. They are 7-12 in conference. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | So is Emily Lockman. |
What a bio.i wonder why she chose Nebraska. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | Thanks. |
Bookmarked. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | Go Blue. |
Glad it's on tv. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | Frustrating last night. |
No way to see or track the game. No ncaa score updates until the final score appeared. Too late to do anything to help. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | I am so tired of using a mouse. |
I love my touch screen iPhone. Do I dare switch to touchscreen for work (autocad)? Would an iPad be good enough? |
