Dr. Lewis was part of an impressive group of linemen as O-line teammates, and great examples of success beyond Michigan: CEO of Ford (Hackett), CEO of Domino’s (Brandon), head coach of OkSt/LSU/Kansas (Miles), and successful orthopedic surgeon (Lewis)
I second the Fire stick. I've been using PS Vue on a Roku for about a year; wow is the Fire interface better! There's a guide like you'd find on a cable box and it seems so much more polished than the Roku interface.
I'm envious of Jimmy Chin's lifestyle- he's a sponsored photographer by Canon and a sponsored athlete by the North Face. He travels the world to climb, ski, and take pictures.
It's interesting that the College Football Playoffs operate independently of the NCAA. Since that's the case I would imagine there will definitely be a playoff game there in the near future.
I agree.. I bet there are a lot of coaches or ADs that would retrospectively pony up money for an in-house bowling alley if it prevented a DUI or Mixon situation with a player.
Is she interested more in the environmental side, or the engineering side? Michigan has one of the best geology departments in the country, which is a degree than can easily be applied to lots of environmental topics/careers like groundwater, etc.
I wasn't a physics major (geology), but took several physics classes and am friends with a couple that went on to grad school in astronomy. PrincetonBlue is right that physics is very math-heavy, but many don't realize that astronomy is as well. Core astronomy classes are basically physics applied towards astronomy topics (different light wavelengths, etc.).
One of the downsides of astronomy is that there aren't many options without a grad degree, and really just a PhD. However, one of the other downsides is that, at least a few years ago, there were many more job-seekers than openings; this includes academia but also government positions. One person I know with a PhD in planetary geology from Notre Dame ended up returning to her undergrad institution to teach adjunct classes until she could find a better position.
News to me as well- I lived in EQ back in the day and don't believe I saw a single athlete. It was heavily renovated a couple years ago so that may count for something.

Seriously. What is Wagner supposed to do there?
Why were the announcers so desperate to get another foul on Teske?
After listening to these announcers, I’d say he combines the best of both, and will be the greatest player in NBA history.
