"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."

Ha, I lived in the room next door to that exact lounge, though there was no TV there in 2006. Just a piano that people would use to wake me up way too early on weekends.

I'd like to think precedent mattered, but I'm not sure it does in the kangaroo courts the NFL seems to be running.

Yeah, this guy sounds like a terrible father.

In London, I really enjoyed Great Queen St for dinner and Pimlico Fresh for breakfast.

I personally just think their stuff looks better. I anecdotally think it's higher quality. It's nothing more than that, and I think many people on this site agree with that.
|9 weeks 19 hours ago||Wait, I like these except I||
Wait, I like these except I don't understand the last one. Why is a wink better than a nod? Seems less subtle, not more.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||Hopefully at least 1 of them||
Hopefully at least 1 of them turns out to be great. Ann Arbor is still lacking a great microbrewery other than JP and they're a little niche, and even then I wouldn't put any of their beers in the Top ~3 I've had even in the styles they specialize in.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||Sure, but that's two bars,||
Sure, but that's two bars, and they'll each have a single Kuhnhenn beer on tap, and even then only half the time. A2 is not exactly awash in Kuhnhenn.

Not like we see a ton of Kuhnhenn on tap around here though.

I think she is still technically Khaleesi, as she still has a "khalasar", albeit a small one.

They Looked, but they did not have the wisdom to See.

You think Ansah was a wasted pick? Lions got him at #5, I believe in Grantland's 2013 "re-draft" a few months back they had him at #2.

Sounds like selection bias. For every year where a "new logo" team wins a title there are probably 20 where they don't.

Saugatuck and Arcadia on here, but not Kuhnhenn? Them's fighting words.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Yeah, Four Peaks even||
Yeah, Four Peaks even sniffing the Finals is dumb. Beer rating sites are far from perfect, but they're very useful as a sort of smell test. Anyway, I just checked, and my smell test says Four Peaks is a solid but far from special brewery. Basically they're Arbor Brewing. And Arbor Brewing sure as shit doesn't deserve to be named "best brewery" of really anything outside of the city of Ypsilanti.

Agreed. Even then, the attendees usually don't cause much trouble, other than maybe some unpleasant odors (and I don't mean the weed.)

True, though this screenshot is from Raw.

Why do you get to decide what defines Bell's brand? And I'd hardly call this "bullying" by Bell's. Innovation are the ones who filed for the trademark, and objections like this are a standard part of that process, especially when dealing with a mark as generic as "Innovation Brewing".
|18 weeks 6 days ago||There is absolutely merit.||
There is absolutely merit. This is just Bell's filing an objection to Innovation Brewing's trademark application, and yes, it is done in part to preempt the possibility of them being sued down the road.

How often are you able to find 120? It's a ghost around here (A2 area.)
|19 weeks 2 days ago||To be fair, I think Kentucky||
To be fair, I think Kentucky is a LOT closer than 'Bama, and I don't think Alabama would even come close in a single game. I could see Kentucky going 12-70 though.
|19 weeks 4 days ago||I think that logic only holds||
I think that logic only holds if it's a relatively large pool. If it's a small pool, you're better off taking the easy points, but in large pools you always have to go risky to win.
|20 weeks 5 days ago||Honestly, I'm not sure a lot||
Honestly, I'm not sure a lot of these articles receive anything more than a perfunctory look-over before they're posted, if that. And I'm not going to hold that redundancy against Baumgardner too much, we've all made mistakes like that when rushing to write reports, send emails, etc.
|20 weeks 6 days ago||I think that's just GM-speak.||
I think that's just GM-speak. Didn't want to be seen as 1) not making an effort or 2) disrespecting one of their best players who, despite his controversies, was a major contributor to Detroit's recent (relative) success. That run D the last few years was nasty.
|21 weeks 1 day ago||Yeah, 3:30 is great for||
Yeah, 3:30 is great for tailgating. A lot of fans must be early risers, cause I always found it annoying to make it to A2, set up, drink, and then have to leave for the game by 11:30. Requires me to either wake up way earlier than I want to on a Saturday or cram my tailgating into like 90 minutes.
|21 weeks 1 day ago||So this was obviously a||
So this was obviously a foreign concept to me as a Midwesterner, but I absolutely loved the 9:30am kickoff for the Lions London game. You eat breakfast and brew up some coffee for the game, and then afterwards you still have your whole day ahead of you.

You're absolutely right. It's weird, but something about those Sat afternoon high school games. They feel like a scrimmage, and the excitement is just gone - from the crowd and the players.

I'm with you on Hunwick, but that team was the scrappy underdog who just couldn't quite pull it off, but put together an incredible run. Similar to the basketball team 2 years ago. No regrets, ya know?
