Hey, that's no fair!

THJ has been consistently inconsistent.

Final Season vs. Career

Ace was looking at their respective final seasons, not their career numbers.  That's where the confusion is coming from.

10.53

Not saying he's Hester-fast either, but apparently he ran a 10.53 at sectionals this weekend:

I agree -- really love these.

Had been poking around Football Outsiders yesterday, befuddled by our rankings drop, waiting for Enjoy Life's analysis.  Thanks for the context.

You people

...what do you mean "You people?"

Will have to wait for the UFR, but...

It seemed that this was more of a problem with our blocking on stretch plays in general, and not merely when Shaw was in the game, per se.

Since Shaw is the "speed" back, he tends to have more outside runs called for him. This was one thing that I noticed yesterday. We were having much more success on inside runs with Smith, so I think that's why we stuck with that.

Remember the Alamo!

Remember Goliad!

Buffalo Billiards

Will be EMPTY this weekend (hopefully not too empty tho), for two reasons:

1) 1-AA
2) early start time.

I've gone to three games there so far this year. It was busy for WMU, quiet for EMU, and just crazy for MSU. So, I wouldn't worry about getting there early to find a spot, unless you want to be sure to get one right in front of the screen. In which case, a half-hour would be prudent.

second

I've had the exact same problem that you've had. Installed Silverlight, restarted browser, computer, etc.

I think it may just be a PowerPC compatibility issue.

It's weird that their imbedded videos work (like on the main page), but no other media does. Lame.

Uh-oh

Wait, Barwis was taking these kids to Bible study?

Was this mandatory? Forget NCAA sanctions, we might have a Constitutional issue to worry about.

I'll expect the Freep story alleging violations of the separation of church and state in the morning...

It seems like...

Maybe it was leaked early and has been subsequently pulled?

I don't know. I could watch it earlier, but now it's not working for me either. Perhaps a better question would be is this STILL working for anyone?

Sad

This is very sad. He was such an excellent DC. As a Cowboys fan, I know I hated to see his defenses...prayers for his family.

Hmmm

I'd be sitting around on my ass watching the tigers and UM-Minny replay, bored out of my mind because all my friends have left for the summer and my roommates are douches who go home every weekend. Oh wait...

Uh-oh

Forgot this was a Pam Ward game. Guess I'm watching it on mute...

Mac:

Oh, that's it! Your illiteracy has screwed us again!

Or

It could be that Tiger's every shot is televised/scrutinized, so that we see all of his "outbursts." Whereas, if Joe Durant -- just to pull a name out of a hat -- has a similar episode, it probably isn't shown. That being said, Tiger is certainly very demonstrative, but it's not like he's going Happy Gilmore out there. Should Tiger hold himself to a higher standard? Perhaps, but I just can't find it in me to generate any outrage. Sorry.

Bottom line: He's in for next year at age 60. After that, it would seem he'd be out of luck.

Howeva, if you look at the R&A's actual exemption list -- http://www.opengolf.com/ChampionshipGolf/TheOpenChampionship/Players/Ex… -- (and extrapolate it to 2011), one would have to assume he'd be in with a win via 4, or even 2.

Also, what is the point of having both 2 and 3? Exemption 2 allows champions born from 1943-1948 in and exemption 3 allows only those 60 and under. Why not just say 65 and call it good? Am I missing something?

All that said, Tom Watson is a G and I'll be rooting hard for him.

Hmmm...

I tutored some of the players this past year. I think I'll come in for my share of the credit.

No, seriously, credit NOW!
