GERG needs to roll the dice and try out Demens. Can someone please give some insight on Demens situation please??

2 years 45 weeks ago	agree	A lot of people talk about Turner like he is 6'2" 220 lbs. The guy is 6'2" 197 lbs. That sounds like a cornerback to me. It will be between him and Floyd for the #2 cb. We already have a ton of guys for the spur and bandit positions (T. Gordon, Williams, Kovacs, Furman, Robinson, etc). SS will be between C. Gordon and Emilien. Also we need Turner at cb so he can step in after Woolfolk leaves.
2 years 45 weeks ago	no question	No question the main concern is the defense. Special teams, especially the kicking game, is also a concern. I'm not going to go into the specifics on what positions on defense are the concerns, I'm going to be pretty elementary and just say we need to allow less points. Last year, if you take away the Deleware St game, we averaged 26.5 points on offense. I believe this years offense will be good enough to tack on another 7 points to last years average, therefore averaging around 33-34 points a game. If you can average 33-34 points a game, you can win the national title. Now I'm not saying we will come close to winning the national title, but by averaging 33-34 points a game we should definetly win some games. The last time the offense averaged 33-34 points a game was in 2003 (35.4 points, not including bowl game). So if this years offense can put up around the same amount of points as 2003, the offense isn't the concern then this year (slight concern at rb). The big difference between 2003 and this years squad will be the defense. In 2003, the defense allowed 16.8 points a game. If we want to get back to michigan football, the defense must get better. Last year, not including the deleware st game, the defense allowed 29.5 points a game. Trying to predict the amount of points the defense allows this year is more of an unknown. I will be optimistic and assume the defense is slightly better and not on the field as long as last year and therefore will allow one less touchdown a game and average around 22.5 points a game. The lasttime, not including 2008, the defense allowed 22.5 points a game was 2004 (23.3 points/game, not including bowl game). In 2004, the offense averaged 30.8 points a game and finished 9-2 in the regular season. I believe this years squad will put up the points like 2003 and allow the points like 2004. I believe heading into the bowl season we will be 8-4, but would not be shocked if we are 10-2. It's all about the defense, rrod's offense will put up the points.

2 years 46 weeks ago	you	can walk the boardwalk which goes along the river to the pier during the day. Wear your sunglasses, there can be some good people watching and lots of bikinis walking around. At night you got the musical fountain, which is also downtown by the river, which is pretty cool. After musical fountain, you guys could then go to The rosebud, also downtown, to listen to live music while enjoying a few cocktails. That's about all I can think of.
2 years 47 weeks ago	true dat	I agree maizenbluenc. PSU game will be much closer than -10. PSU has a young, unproven qb. I wouldn't be surprised at all if mich WINS that game. PSU might have a good defense but if mich scores at least 24 points I don't see their offense scoring beyond 21 points. All mich has to do is stop Evan Royster. ND -7 is too much also. I think either mich will blow out ND, yes blow out, or ND could win a nail biter. It's all about how much Kelly can implement his system by kick off. I don't think ND will be ready. ND will start to get better midseason. "To hell with ND!"
2 years 48 weeks ago	i think	I think tate will start but you will see both take equal amount of snaps during the game. The coaches probably won't know who the actual starter will be until midseason. I think what you saw during the spring game, were the coaches building up denard's confidence by having him go against the 2nd string.

2 years 48 weeks ago	give	To be fair to RR, lets see how his system does when he has a bunch of juniors, seniors, and depth. It's hard for any coach to succeed with freshman, sophomores, walk ons, and players transferring. 2010 will be an improvement, i believe 8-4, and we shouldn't be disappointed with 8-4 because if Carr was still coaching we would consistantly be 7-5 or 8-4 every year. 2011 will be the return of michigan football and the return to new years day bowl games my friends.
