Where's the love for the B1G? I want two B1G teams in the elite 8. Sparty going any further would be insufferable, but I have no problem pulling for Wisky the whole way.
The teams I'm rooting against most strongly are ND and Kentucky, both for pretty obvious reasons.

Since you asked:
Jerseys without exception fit horribly. And a good-fitting jersey would look even worse. I think they look childish even in the US, a country where grown men let's face it often dress like teenagers (t-shirts with stuff on them, baseball caps, sneakers, and so on).
But I suppose they fit in with the overall football environment, whose coaches are in general horrible dressers, haha.

No that's wrong information. According to Colin Cowherd, we already hired a coach the weekend before last, and it was apparently a guy we hadn't heard before but that we're really happy with now.

I do not think that's a fair characterization of Brian. Everyone has preferences and idiosyncrasies, just like everyone murders and steals, but I think Brian has shown an open willingness to go back and revise previous positions.

Just because he's a CEO doesn't mean he's a villain who will see Michigan athletics as a grand marketing venture. Granted, it increases the chances, but I don't see any reason not to give Hackett the benefit of the doubt.

Exactly. There was no indication the defense would improve at all if given a year 4; in fact, there is every indication it would've been even worse.
Once Rodriguez and his yahoo friends started meddling with Shafer's defense and then later fired Shafer, it was over. Everything else was just epilogue. Even with Denard goddam Robinson Michigan under RR posed no threat to competent teams.

I guess I disagree (and I disagree with Brian's prohibition of the term, for what it's worth). I really think the staying power of the phrase is due to the way it perfectly encapsulates the psychology of State's inferiority complex (and the way State lashes out to make up for this).

He's saying that if Michigan fans who didn't go to Michigan are "allowed" to broadcast Michigan's academic superiority, then Harvard fans who didn't go to Harvard (if such a thing exists) must have good times (assuming your idea of a good time is broadcasting a given school's academic superiority).
