Conference realignment, the facilities arms race, the sleazy recruiting and all the unpleasant aspects of big time football and basketball can be laid at Title IX's feet. Bo wasn't worried about women playing soccer on his fields, he was worried about his players having to earn millions of dollars so that others could play sports. While Title IX has done a lot of good, in its current form it is causing a great deal of trouble.

When an area that claims 15% of the country is producing 40% of the "elite" talent, something is fishy. I bet if you looked at Rivals subscription numbers you would find that more people in SEC country pay for their service, so inflating their rankings would help with their business. Also, for the longest time Rivals didn't have a Midwest analyst, and weren't in any rush to fill that position. Every recruiting site has some sort of bias, just comes with the territory.

The fact that her best time would barely beat a short high schooler that only practiced a few days a week makes me think she would get crushed by an actual athlete.

34 weeks 6 days ago	One nice thing about	One nice thing about purchasing coffee at Sweetwaters is they have a Skyline Blend, which donates money to the athletic department of the newest high school in Ann Arbor bearing the same name. With all the cuts being made to high school athletics it is a nice thing for a local company to do.

Hockey has been mixing it up and while they have had a miss or two, they also have made some incredible jerseys. Also, I definitely think they should give Adidas a free reign for the spring game.
36 weeks 1 day ago	I'm still not too worried. So	I'm still not too worried. So far we've faced the best OL in the country who just manhandled us, and then an OL that attacked your ankles. The rest of the year we won't face anything like these two teams and I think our performance will pick way up. It won't be pretty, but I like our DL against the OL in the Big 10, which look strikingly mediocre.
