I'll let you google it, but of those people, Moss and Johnson are the only that have.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY runs a 4.3. There are like 3 people ever that have broken that.

apologies.

apologies.

By that logic, the odds of me

By that logic, the odds of me getting mauled by a grizzly bear dressed up as Britney spears while singing the entire Wu-Tang album "36 Chambers" at 4 times the speed (in a Chipmunk voice) is 50/50 - because it'll either happen, or it won't. The rest are externalities. Are you SURE there's not a rap-obsessed Grizzly bear wandering the streets of Boston looking for me right now? That's just your guess at an externality.

Using outside receivers and

Using outside receivers and throwing boatloads aren't mutually exlcusive in RR's offense. See: Chris Henry.

We have a winner.

It is impossible to argue

It is impossible to argue with you when you consistently edit your posts after I've responded so you can change what you wrote.

Yes, the level of civility

Yes, the level of civility that you've treated everyone with gives me a burning desire to support your website.

So, rather than responding to

So, rather than responding to my rebuttal, you're just going to scream "troll". That's an indication of your desire to have an actual debate about.

For the record - I don't

For the record - I don't think it helps Michigan. I just think is tiring to read, after every single MSU win, this guy crediting it to externalities (refs, poor play from the opponent, etc.) rather than just simply staying silent. I don't expect him to sing the praises of MSU, but coming on here to come up with a reason for every victory that somehow absolves them of all credit is ridiculous.

I'm not disagreeing with your

I'm not disagreeing with your premise. I don't think MSU winning is "good" for Michigan.

I'm more annoyed that rather than dealing with my non-ad hominem point, you can't even muster the rationality to address it. Rather, you call me a "troll". I'm not going to regurgitate easily googled song lyrics for you. If I DID go to Michigan State, does it change my point? (ie, MSU's hoops program is already held in greater esteem than Michigan's, so this changes nothing)

Referring to Jamie Mac, who

Referring to Jamie Mac, who contributes an enormous amount of well-thought-out, smart hoops analysis to this blog an "idiot" in the comment section of his diary is, in my mind, shrill.

I graduated from Michigan in

I graduated from Michigan in 2000 and sat in the Rose Bowl in 1997. I just don't see why we can't just say "Michigan State has a good basketball program", and move on, instead of crediting their success to externalities (refs, poor opposition, etc.).

I have friends and family member who went to MSU. I don't hate them.

If Ziegler's criteria was

If Ziegler's criteria was "I'm going to the better program", we weren't in contention before this game tipped off. MSU, today, is a far, far, far superior program to UM.

Why are you so shrill about

Why are you so shrill about this? Does it require the same post on 4 threads, 3 of your own making?

I agree that acting like this

I agree that acting like this helps Michigan doesn't make sense.

But you're acting as if MSU and UM have been operating on a level playing field in terms of recruiting, or that it was even remotely close to changing. MSU could have lost first round, and any rational kid whose criteria was "I want to go to the better team" would have STILL chosen MSU. Every single needle points in their direction - a loss today wouldn't have changed that.

When was that perception even

When was that perception even vaguely close to changing? When they beat us by 30? When we finished 6 places lower in the Big 10? When we lost 2 rounds ago?

Is MSU just now a superior

Is MSU just now a superior choice to us in-state? No - it's been happening for 15 years. The idea that this changes anything is silly.

You: Insult.

No.

Why would Ziegler go to a "fraudulent" program?

The fact that UL doesn't play

The fact that UL doesn't play defense doesn't bode well if they get matched up against a team like Wake.

Tempo-free stats say Louisville was the 2nd best defensive team in the nation. http://kenpom.com/team.php?y=2009&team=Louisville

You're not helping yourself.

Show any sort of objective

Show any sort of objective measurement that supports that. Things like record, RPI, and SOS would all say you're wrong.

Look at Rivals. They were

Look at Rivals. They were three-stars.

How can you possibly claim

How can you possibly claim this with any shred of sanity? What #4 seed is better than Louisville?

MSU beat a good team. Deal with it.

MSU has been a better program

MSU has been a better program than us for 15 years. How does this result alter that in the least? Beilein's in the same position he was a month ago.

Something tells me that the

Something tells me that the author will talk about Louisville tanking, or poor reffing rather than admit MSU actually won.

Iowa had 3 all big-ten

Iowa had 3 all big-ten players: Shonn Greene, Mitch King, and Kroul. They all are gone.

How does the relative

How does the relative shooting percentage establish preferential reffing? I'm confused.

Michigan State won. Accept it.

The other funny thing is that

The other funny thing is that no Kansas player went for the ball, and the two Kansas guys closest looked they were ready to play defense.

Why can't you even

Why can't you even acknowledge that they won fairly? With a tie game, inside a minute, a Kansas player literally tripped over himself with no contact with an MSU player - Kalin Lucas was called for the foul. You're going to claim preferential reffing?

Alexi Ramirez is better than that NOW. Why would they trade him for that?

The team had a great year -

The team had a great year - better than anyone could have expected.

It's too bad that rather than talking about that, we're going to complain about refs and talk about the attractiveness of Blake Griffin's mother. All she did was show up and cheer for her two sons. I'm glad that the mother of everyone here looks like a super-model.

because of the iowa loss the

because of the iowa loss the team lost a 7-9 seeding and this would have made a major difference in whom michigan faced and just maybe we would be looking forward to a sweet 16 matchup on thursday.

With a seven seed, they would have faced a 2 seed in the second round, which is exactly what they did with their current seed.

With an eight or nine seed, they would have faced a 1 seed in the second round.

On other words, a better seed would have only given them, at best, the same second round opponent.
