I don't think you get it. Chesson is listed as the starting #2 WR. Darboh is on the 2 deep behind Funchess. Thus, it would be very bad if Gardner were to pass it to Darboh because he would be on the bench. In general, passing to someone on the bench is not looked upon fondly.
is the first thing I think of anytime someone mentions Brandon Graham. ...I could watch that all day.
May God have mercy on the souls of opposing offenses if Frank Clark finishes turning the corner he started late last fall.
If Pipkins, Henry, Hurst, and Mone can demand double teams in the middle and keep the linebackers clean, and Clark can come off the edge like that .... giggle.
to commit 69% of murders in the US, murders only account for 1.2% of all violent crime in this Country. You are far more likely to assaulted/robbed/raped with hands/feet/clubs/bricks than a gun. We have a violence problem in this Country, plain and simple.
Either way, thoughts and prayers go out to the MSU community.
Hit the link and checked out Seth's answers to their questions, then made the mistake of perusing some of the comments...'wow' is about all I can say. I'm guilty of homerism from time to time, but those guys take it to a whole new level.
I'm sorry, but how can anyone in the AP have Ohio above teams like Clemson and LSU? I can understand Michigan still at 17, but Ohio at 3? Come on, man.
if he was, he would have drawn a generic ball carrier and then smashed his face into it, breaking the glass. He then would have muttered something about physicalness and how this is Michigan FERGODSAKES
to winning by 3 in 2 plays. Glad I didn't go to bed 3 minutes ago when I stood up to do so. This is why I love college football - so much crazy shit happens.
is 4.34 or 4.39 depending on which site you check out.
So yes, He is Denard fast.
I see him as a cross between Vincent Smith and Jeremy Gallon - a tought, physical, very shifty all purpose back who also has great hands (and hopefully a cloaking device!)
for simplifying my choice. I was afraid I was going to have to think and stuff... And yet here I find myself still staring at that picture unable to choose.
I listen to Bill King everyday, and I have to say it's quite refreshing to hear a radio talk show host that is as close to unbiased as they come. Not only that, but the majority of his callers are at least sane (when compared to most radio callers.
I also used to really enjoy college football playbook with Jack Arute and Mike Leach...but then Leach left :(
P.S. Bill King has an ipod app if you want to stream the show or listen to it after the fact, or you can listen online live or later. Website/ipod app are 'billisking'. Free sign up for quality college sports radio? I think so.
on your point about Wilson/Thomas getting a bunch of yards. Wilson had 82 yards on 24 carries. Let that sink in a minute. One of the top running backs in the NATION was held under 100 yrds rushing for 3.4 ypc. That's a good day for ANY defense. Thomas had 16 rushes for 53 yards (3.3 ypc).
Also, our D-line held their team to 1.1 ypc in the redzone.
My understanding of it is that, as long as he is set for >1 second, it's perfectly legal. I'm also pretty sure he does that on every kick. I may be wrong here, but I've heard that from a few different people on MGoBlog and someone brought it up on the radio this morning (can't remember which show)
EDIT:
Per the NCAA Football Rule Book, Rule 7, Section 1, Article 2.a
"After a huddle (Rule 2-14-1) or shift (Rule 2-22-1)
and before the snap, all Team A players must come to an absolute stop and
remain stationary in their positions for at least one full second before the ball
is snapped, without movement of the feet, body, head or arms (A.R. 7-1-2-I)."
But our Rimington Trophy winning center losing mobility due to an ankle injury definietly didn't help. UFR will be the final judge, but my money is on some missed blocks by Molk thanks to this.
He didn't have possession. The ball wasn't in his hands so much as between his forearms, and the nose of the ball hit the ground at the same time his elbow did.
I just assumed the replay gods would give it to them, because that's the way it has gone all year.
I liked the UTL jerseys even before they won the game in spectacular ' DID YOU SEE THAT!' fashion. The same cannot be said for their away counterparts from the MSU game. I hated those the instant I saw them and my eyes started bleeding.
My guess is he will have a solid game, but next year is when he is really going to blow the lid off. I can see him being next year's RVB - an honorary captain who really steps up to the plate when the team is looking for senior leadership not named Denard.
Thanks for putting the time in on these calculations. I always thought the replay ref got it right about the ball being short of the GL, but I agree with you that, at the time, the evidence was not irrefutable - hence, ANGAR! Then there was the "place the ball on the 1 foot line" - hence, MOAR ANGAR!!!!

I believe he meant 'these puns are FOLLYCLE'
is a heck of a jump from 17, and our defense is not good enough to make this team top 10. I expect us to come in around 11-13 after this weekend.
..that allowed >50 pts against McNeese State. MUHUAHAHAHAHA
WOOOOOOOOO WE WON WOOOO!!!!!
*insert unnecessary, constructive comment here*

On that note: 31-17 good guys.

And just like that, they're back in it. Pick 6 puts them up 27-24
Someone teach that freshman the meaning of 'in front, and inside'
NW doing their best to throw the game right now. BIG TENNNN!
Clemson knocks off UGA 38-35
Dats some bullshit there. 3 Neb players leveled the receiver before the ball was even halfway there. No PI
Bo looks like he's ready to murder Papuchis
Unstoppable throw-god Trevor Simien putting NW on top 14-7
ETA: He's 10/11, 98 yds
Clemson D is walking all over Georgia right now. ESS EEE SEE!!!
Wyoming up 14-10 on the Huskers.
Wyoming playing like a top 10 team right now. Nebraska seems a little taken aback by how much of a fight they're being handed.
LOL Iowa
starting to feel MUCH better about our O-Line after watching Sparty try to execute their cluster-F of an offense.

Broncos backup QB with a TD pass for his first collegiate snap. Awesome.
well...that sucks.
Millen: "now, it's a four point game, so you have to score at least 6..." Thanks Matt, I never would have been able to figure that out on my own
at this rate there will be at least 2 more touchdowns before the game is over...starting to feel like UTL
not 10 seconds after I post this, ole miss gets 6...wow.

So...I guess we can finally move on to 2016 DB recruiting now? About time.
PHYSICALNESS! Get it right, or T.Rawls is going to give you a 'Welcome to Michigan' as well.
Just when I thought I could unbuckle. I'm this 5 pt. harness is starting to chaff.

Seriously only takes 20 seconds, so no excuses.
I've made it. I will take them both. Rivalries are so much better when viewed first hand.

Can someone please make a GIF of the Sparty fan turning away in disgust as the OT kick went through the uprights?
P.S. WOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO SUGAR BOWL WIN!!!!
I love your post.
