I sincerely wish I could…

I sincerely wish I could stop watching, but I cannot avert my eyes. This must be what addiction is like.

I feel the same way as Brian…

I feel the same way as Brian, but I was hoping his piece would at least be well written... this was just a poor effort and missed opportunity. Time to sit back and see if this program, and college football in general, can give us a reason to pay attention again.

Yeah, I noticed this as well…

Yeah, I noticed this as well. What joke am I missing?

I can second this

Definitely not the first time I've heard this around Athens/Atlanta.

Interesting to think back

Interesting to think back when he was a Freshman. Derrick Green was supposed to be the man... and Smith was the backup.

Not the worst idea... seriously

Didn't O'Korn play in a spread offense at Houston? Maybe he is more comfortable from the shotgun.

Sports talk guys down here in

Sports talk guys down here in Atlanta said the same thing... I think the argument was that Harbaugh did not do anything to deflect blame at all from Blake by saying something like "one play doesn't lose a game".

I agee Harbaugh didn't go out of his way to support Blake but I also do not think he threw anybody under the bus.

I ordered Dominos to

I ordered Dominos to celebrate.

I just don't see it

I just don't see it happening. He is older than folks think, and I can't see him uprooting and moving to a place with an entirely different climate, culture, etc. How many coaches head north? Urban Meyer had roots in Ohio so that move made sense. James Franklin took the PSU job but he is young and that was a huge step up for him.

As an alumnus of both schools

As an alumnus of both schools I would love this. UGA doesn't understand how good they have it (like Nebraska firing Solich and Tennessee firing Fulmer). However, while Richt would be a great fit for the values Michigan upholds, he ain't coming north. He's a Miami graduate, a former FSU assistant, and he's spent 15 years in Athens. He's not moving.

Exactly!

Fred Jackson said he was like Mark Ingram... but FAST.

Quite the year for you!

I hope you enjoy the tournament with both your teams advancing for the next three weeks. I know sometimes having both teams in the tournament can be stressful, but at least they are on opposite sides of the bracket!

I just want to say that it is

I just want to say that it is really nice to have this problem. There was no line for bleacher seats when I had student season tickets to watch a starting backcourt of Danny Wohl, Sherrod Harrell, and John Andrews...back whenRon Coleman, Lester Abram, and Graham Brown were the best we could hope for (no offense to those guys!).

Anybody else have first row seats in Beilein's first year, watching Deshaun Sims jack up threes from the corner?

I did enjoy watching Pat

I did enjoy watching Pat Fitzgerald keep putting on more layers of clothing at last week's game in the cold rain... and then seeing Hoke on the other sideline with short sleeves.

Jim Harbaugh?

2008 Stanford?

7 road games

That is pretty weird that they played 7 games away from home. I suppose that would be 4 conference road games, an out of conference road game, a conference championship, and a bowl game?

Quick Question

Anybody know why a few of the San Diego State players are wearing long sleeves?  I haven't seen that in basketball before... just those arm sleeves Allen Iverson used to wear.

Yes

Illinois is in as long as they go 4 - 4 down the stretch.  They should beat Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue, and Northwestern.  Then they'd have 20 wins, including W's over Butler, Gonzaga, Ohio State, and Indiana.  Three out of four of those games are at home, and the road game is Northwestern... which, well, might as well be a home game for Illinois.

Yeah... Zeller needed to find

Yeah... Zeller needed to find out what flavor gum Griffey was chewing.

Can someone please explain

Can someone please explain what "We On" means?  I know that is the shirt that the team wears... but I was wondering if there was any particular significance to it.

probably works great for

probably works great for women's gymnastics though!

He's also the best coach for

He's also the best coach for Wisconsin because the man looks like a badger.  For realz

What about postseason tournament games?

Do the higher seeds get more calls because they generally play regionals closer to home (i.e. Duke often plays early rounds in Charlotte or Greensboro)?  Just wondering.

I can't stand biased officiating, even if it benefits Michigan, because I never want the outcome decided by the refs.  As far as I'm concerned, refs do the best job when you barely notice they are there.

Probably just wants a raise at OSU

If he interviews at other schools then OSU will feel the need to pay him more to stay.

Mike Riley is at his second head coaching stint at OSU, where he grew up and where his father also coached.

Pat Forde wrote an interesting article on Riley earlier this year.  The dude rides his bike to work.  That won't work very well in Madison... which is basically a giant ice skating rink in the winter.

UGA

I think Georgia has the players to compete with Alabama in the SEC.  UGA has as good a defense as LSU and a better offense.

Aaron Murray is the best quarterback in the SEC, UGA has 4 WRs who are very dependable, and 2 Freshmen RBs in Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall who each seem to get 100 yards per game.

On Defense, tonight was their first game at full strength with their All-American Safety and their starting middle linebacker returning from suspensions (plus, a saftey whose name is "Rambo" should be able to compete with the likes of Nick Saban).  Tonight they were still ironing things out and many of the points Tennessee scored were off of turnovers and fantastic field position.

Just my two cents.
