This is a complex question so let's look at it from several angles.

Do I think JJ WILL be drafted in the first 5, absolutely possible.  I've seen much worse QBs get drafted that high.

Do I think JJ is one of the top 5 QBs available this year?  Yes, absolutely.  He's better than Bo Nix.  Doesn't have the injury questions that Penix has. 

Would I draft him that high?  That really depends on what my team needs.  What kind of system my OC runs, etc.  

Do I think he'll be a franchise QB?  I'm not sure.  He has potential but he has the one problem that's really hard to fix.  He's not 'Drew Brees' accurate.  He makes good decisions, he's got the physical tools, but his ball placement is just not elite yet.  I watched the Kurt Warner breakdown of JJ against Purdue and there were issues there.  

I hope he gets drafted by a team that can let him sit and grow one more year.

Tangent Time: as a reader of marvel comics back in the day, the name Nimrod was always associated with the time traveling robot sentinel. 

Apparently it's a biblical name that was of some kind of hunter or giant.

1996-1998 was like the peak moment in time for sports in Ann Arbor/SE Michigan. Michigan Football, Michigan Hockey, Redwings x2, Barry Sanders 2k yards.  I'm glad to have been there to live through it.

We used to order Mr. Spots hot wings every Redwings game for a Wings and Wings night.  I went back recently and the prices are ridiculous.  I still laid down 60 bucks just for some nostalgia.

There's no excuse with all the ride share apps these days.  You get one mulligan.  3 incidents is a problem.

Yeah, but I feel like being an experienced player at a position and then going on to coach that position isn't that big of a jump.  It really comes down to whether or not you can be a teacher, since you obviously have the knowledge.

Supposedly it improved a lot after the olympics, more signs in english, but yeah, the average Japanese person can't speak a lick of english despite them all studying english for years in school. 

I'm trying to learn Japanese now and my god you have to rewire your brain to understand the three different alphabets they use.

I'm currently in the Philippines, and it just sucks in comparison.
