Not sure why people think that coaches have to play the sport to be a good coach. I played college ball for a Hall of Fame player in his day that was absolute garbage as a college head coach.
I am thinking that Urban will be back on the sidelines as the head coach OSU. Take a year off, teach some classes, UMich wins the B1G, and OSU goes 9-3. The fan base goes crazy and they bring back Urban as head coach in 2020. Thats my conspiracy theory.
Im speaking in general terms, not necessarily from a Michigan perspective.
All bowl games have become "meaningless" for several different reasons. Since the playoff system started all games are now meaningless unless you win the National Championship. Its like you have all of these meaningless bowls that nobody cares about because fans can't wait to watch the real games. National Championship > Bowl Game Win.
High profile players don't play because its not worth it.
Redshirt freshman are now going to get more playing time.
What other sport plays a game, takes a month off, and then plays its next game?
Many of the head coaches and assistant coaches don't even coach the same teams that they did in the regular season.
Bowl games are becoming glorified pre season Spring Football games.
I would change our fanbase. Way too many sore losers, kid bashers, coach bashers, and people who can't get through life knowing that their beloved team lost a game.
When you have a bill of $500 million to pay off what better way to pay it off than to increase the amount students who make tuition payments. I mean you do the math. Oh wait....
First of all congrats to your son who has two very impressive offers for a very impressive future. Secondly, if you are coming to a college sports blog looking for input on schools, then you might as well make it even and go ask the other school’s sports blog the same questions. Get back to use when you find it. I think we all know what the right choice is. Go Blue!!
I’ve never been a big fan of this team beat this team so that means this team has a better shot at beating this team who lost to this team. At the end of the night Has Ken Pon ever won or lost a game?
Why the infatuation with Izzo and Staee? Our team is in the final four. Can’t we just be happy and stay classy? Is this what sports fandom has become? Rubbing it in the faces of our opponents?
Shame on Yahoo Sports. They just put themselves down there with ESPN. They should know better than to sensationalize anything negative about Sparty Nation. Just another witch hunt. Just ask any Sparty loyalists.

The human immune system is a great thing. I choose to let it do its job and run its course. More people should give it a try.

Less truck drivers in Ohio this year?
Oh they have plenty of money. I mean "have you seen the Breslin lately".
Agree! However, you are not in the "true north" until you cross the second bridge.
Best comment I have read on here in a long time.
Not sure if coach would allow him on the team.
Showing up whenever he wants is not good for The Team, The Team, The Team.
Instead of $800 for a generator, just buy tickets and go to the damn game!
I wonder what is inside the trunk of that car?

Dantonio reprimanded? Does this mean he has to call his mom?
How about we beat PSU first?
What are some other options for Sling users? This is frustrating listening on the radio.
To answer your first question....about 37 mil. Which is a lot of money.
Just another way of looking out for the victims and putting them first. Yea right!!!

Let’s not make
Let’s not make this any harder than it needs to be.
All SIX of those teams beat us the last time we played them.
Maybe not a "money scam" but defintely a "money grab" .....with some inexact science thrown in there too.
