Hotels will likely remain fairly difficult depending on what you’re willing to spend. Plenty of parking/tailgate options around the stadium. We were a couple blocks from it last year (McCarty lot) and tailgated all day. Food/drinks will be easier the further away from the stadium you get. We tried to pop into a couple bars within walking distance of the stadium mid-tailgate and lines were out the door (a block long at the Slippery Noodle).
I'm with you. This is why I hit the garage sale most years and buy the actual team-issued jerseys. Usually get stuck with some random ass number like 83, but oh well. It's the real deal.
The dig route calls for a couple steps towards the post (to sell the post route), then breaking it off and cutting directly across the field on an in (all that after running vertical up the field first, of course).
Brian correctly called it a dig in his game column or somehwere else after the game.
Was easily the second-best player on the field in 1997, and had the best game I've ever seen a pure CB have (save for Woodson's performance against MSU earlier that year).
Kid was all over the damn field. I still marvel at his performance every time I watch that game.
I have spent considerable time over the years watching tickets on secondary markets (for various events, not just M football).
The story is the same, almost every single time.
Let's use an example of tickets being released 1 month before the event....
When tickets are immediately released (assuming this is a marketable event), prices shoot through the roof once face values are no longer available. Typically, prices will remain at this highly elevated level for about 1.5 weeks. Over the next week or so, those prices will start to come down, as the demand has diminished to a degree. We're now 2.5 weeks in, and 1.5 weeks out from the event. That 10 days is fun to watch...like tracking a volatile stock in the market:
Typically, days 10 through 8 (out from the event) you will see prices stay relatively the same. However, when you get to seven days out, or the week of the event, all of a sudden the secondary market 'remembers' that the event is that week, and the demand absolutely spikes, causing prices to spike. Tickets remain at those elevated levels (similar to the prices after face values ran out 3 weeks ago, and sometimes even higher) for the next 2-3 days (we are now 4-5 days out from the event). The next two days, sellers start to freak out that they're not going to unload their tickets at these elevated prices, and immediately begin trying to undercut one another. This is prime buying time (if you're forced to buy on the secondary market). Tickets will hit an all-time low for the secondary market, and this will last until the day before the event. On the day before the event, there is another sudden spike (more "oh shit, it's tomorrow!" buyers out there allow for this).
Lastly, the day of, they will fall back down again.
That's just an example for over a month. Take that same chart and you can apply it to almost any different timeframe. It's not 100% the case, but I'd give it at least 88% of the time the chart will follow that path.
FWIW, I just bought my season tix on the secondary market. $660 a ticket, Section 7 Row 56 (first row behind the handicap section, so I have no one in front of me).

I just came across that site for the first time last week. I was able to watch ANY college football game I wanted this weekend, even the lowly matchups. If it's being broadcasted on TV anywhere, this site will have it up.
I was even able to stream from this site on the PS3, allowing me to still watch on the flat screen and not being forced to watch it on my 13'' monitor.

First would have to be back in 2003, still a sophomore in HS. Dated this chick who's father was a huge Notre Dame fan (I grew up in the South Bend area, unfortunately, so everyone was really). So, by nature, she was too. But, I took her along with me and my father to the '03 ND game at the Big House. Slaughter-fest. 38-0. She 'became' a Michigan fan that day....
until I came home from college one summer and saw her with a ND shirt on. Stupid b*tch. What a waste of a ticket. I generally LOVE taking people to their first game at the Big House, and whether they are M fans or not, I can typically swing 'em that way after a day in AA.
But again, looking back, I wish we would have just brought along my mother or younger brother for that. Somebody legit should have seen that complete ass-whooping.
Second would be in that same year, 2003. Iowa. We lose in Kinnick, 30-27. Enough said.
For whatever reason, I thought I was Johnny Badass back then and had bought a fifth of Everclear the night before. Hardly broke into it that Friday night. When we lost that game, I RAN to the trunk of my car, brought it right into the house and started chugging out of the bottle. By the end of the night my first had ended up in my bedroom wall.
Stupid, just stupid.
Oh, and a third thing, quickly, would be interning in the Notre Dame Athletic Department as a senior in HS. Did it SOLELY because I knew I had the option to work in the pressbox for games...and Michigan was coming to town that year.
Then that little shit Darius Walker happened. It was miserable sitting in that pressbox during that.

I usually just watch it off of mgovideo.com, which usually has it up the following day (show airs on Tuesdays, on mgovideo on Wednesdays, I think).
