I would go back to Saturday and buy a ticket to the game. Just being at the game would possbly be enough to change the circumstances ever so slightly so that the completely ludicrous last second play wouldn't have happened exactly as it does. But just to be certain, I would strip naked and run onto the field during our last timeout with 10 seconds left. That would be enough to re-allign the cosmos and allow the last play to happen again under different circumstances. And the chances that State would score again under those different circumstances is 1 in 1000.
Of course I'd be in trouble, as I would have to explay why I skipped my sister's wedding to run naked on a football field.
Regarding the 2005 Iowa game fumble, and a few others, I'm still befuddled as to how the replay can overrule a play that was ruled on the field to not be a fumble, and give the ball to a team that fell on the ball after the play was ruled to be over. If a play was ruled down with no fumble, then the play ended at that instant. Anything that happened thereafter would have been incidental.
If I recall, the 2004 Notre Dame Chad Henne fumbe referred to in No. 4 was another example of this.
though I had different plays and different orders.
6) Field goal to complete 2003 Minnesota comeback. Not a very exciting play in itself, since the game was tied and there were still ticks on the clock if I recall, but it finished off the biggest comeback in Michigan history.
5) 2006 Notre Dame game, Burgess interception for a touchdown in opening minute. It happened very early in the game, but it set the tone for one of the best ass-whoopings of all time, and launched momentum for 11 straight wins.
4) Field goal to win 2002 Washington game
3) One of the touchdowns to win the 2004 MSU game. Not sure which one in particular stands out. I guess the clinching TD in 3OT, but we still had to play defense after that.

This has to be wrong though because Hart is supposedly blocking on 3 of the top 4.
Yeah, I wouldn't put that at #6, but I thought something from that game would have been top 11. I think I will change my guess to be one of those FG block/Interception returns vs Washington.

If Michigan and Ohio State are in the same division, which I think they have to be, then you must throw in one other traditional competitive team in there to keep them honest. I've seen divisions that include Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue and Northwestern. Michigan or Ohio State win that division 96 times out of 100. I wouldn't mind seeing that, but it is ridiculously unfair. Much more unfair than a division that has more talent overall than another. You need at least one of Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State or Nebraska in the division with Michigan and OSU. And if you are going to do that, it might as well be Penn State to preserve the rivalries and the East/West geography.
Sure Michigan, OSU and Penn State are traditionally 3 of the 4 best teams in the league, but a championship game against the best of Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa or Illinois in a championship game will almost always be a championship worthy matchup.

The guy has been busting his a$$ to be able to make an announcement at the Army game while still being able to enroll early (and attend class the following Monday). Is it THAT implausible that he wants to make the most of his first chance to speak on national television?
with a 6 team playoff, and that includes conference title games. The NCAA already allows a team to play 15 games in a year if you schedule Hawaii (12, plus 1 for Hawaii, plus 1 for the conf. title, plus the bowl). At most 2 teams per year would play 16 games, and that would require each of 1) that they play in their conference title game, 2) they don't get a first round bye and 3)they upset one of the top 2 teams. It probably happens to one team every 2 or 3 years. Not really a big deal.
