Russ Thomas was not a good GM and WCF was not a good owner. That's a tough combination to overcome. Seeing the WCF on the their uniform sleeves still irks me.
Rob Parker....how did someone this bad keep a job in the industry for so long? Worst one ever. At least Drew Sharp was fairly intelligent. Parker....not so much.
You and your son are making a good decision. OSU is a solid school and after your son has a few years of work experience under his belt, future employers will care far more about where he has worked than what college he attended.
Spot on. He's delusional thinking a national title will instantly have NBA scouts thinking he's a good draft prospect. It sucks for him that the NBA has transitioned away from bigs with limited mobility and Bill Self isn't going to make him a better athlete. At best, he will be a fringe NBA player or wind up in Europe.
Sounds like Hunter just can't process the situation yet, especially after the success he personally had at Michigan.
I still think he has a decent future in the NBA, if he starts getting better advice and puts the work in. Hopefully his body will start to fill out a little.
I agree with the 2nd round projection. Worth the chance if he sounds motivated and is OK with not seeing immediate minutes.
Bama likes physical corners, so the offer makes sense. I doubt it will happen because the kid and his father kept mentioning depth chart as a big reason they liked Ohio over Michigan. If they are scared of competition, then Bama is the last place to go.
If he's got his mind set on the NFL, then Bama would be a better choice.
His dad did a nice job addressing the negative feedback coming from State fans and explaining how they support Drake. Too bad all recruits don't have parents like that.
The offense has improved, but sometimes the play calling hinders its effectiveness. I can't stand that stupid QB power sweep where they use Forcier as a pure running back. It's usually 3rd or 4th and short and it never works.
As for the defensive back 7...hope next year is better.
He was a big time recruit and wanted by Florida, but not to play QB.
DG's passing in that last game was not great. He still has a lot of work to do on his mechanics and accuracy. Redshirt.
Beilein is a good talent evaluator, but it doesn't mean he will be right on every kid. I hope Cronin turns out to be a solid player, but from what I've seen so far, he has a long way to go.

Maybe they are good position coaches, but not ready or capable of being a good DC.
We pretty much kept every offensive coach and lost every defensive coach.

You were close.
Delusion runs strong in that fanbase.
That's a great point. I was thinking they would get off with a small settlement, but the threat of discovery will boost the payment.
I would think there is a limit until they say who cares how bad we look.
Brady was clearly better. Lloyd was trying to keep his top recruit happy and was banking on the future.
Well said, Preacher. We don't know exactly what transpired.
If you had to bet your house on it, I wonder how many people would wager that the calls were strictly platonic?
I wonder what a McOrji is? Robert Griffin III might know.

Will Johnson too low, especially since he plays at a premium position.
Nor would there have been a movie about a football player from a nice family that plays in college and the NFL.
You need both.

The scene of her interrupting football practice to teach Michael how to play with more aggression was especially lame.
The story is about all of their lives, not just Oher's life. That said, he should have been included in the profits...
You win.
I thought it was you all along....
Are they more concerned about equal pay and making a statement during the anthem? Asking for a conservative friend....
Go ahead, call me a snob, but I just don't see Applebee's being a good fit.
I truly hope this is the biggest legacy of the NW fiasco.
Both jobs will be tough to replace with AI. They require intuition, creativity, and problem-solving skills. They will not be easily replaced.
Paralegals doing research on the other hand, should be a little concerned.
Well played, indeed!

Still too soon. You can include Jerry Hairston Jr ruining Milt Wilcox's perfect game with just one out to go.
...but you're getting younger every day. I think that's how the saying goes.
I've always heard the 49ers have deep pockets.
A lot of players exited under Bo, but he coached up those who stayed.
Coach Prime is like a revolving door.
Yes, the days of Carvin Johnson and Ray Vinopal are behind us...

Either the time he committed to Michigan or the time he entered the portal. Hard to choose.
You know it's a strong recruiting class when over half the players are mentioned as favorites or potential standouts.
That second song is stuck in my head.
So you also ran a 4.48 40 and won the MVP at the Best of the Midwest Combine?
I think the kid gets there if he keeps his good attitude and continues to work hard. He has so many natural gifts for an offensive lineman.
Anyone named Tom is named after Tom Harmon? I wouldn't "doubt" it.

Instead of "Overrated" I wish there was an "Are You Serious?" option.
One of them might slide to right tackle...or with Shane that might be left tackle.
Yep, the original was the best. Even the name was better: North Stars. Too bad the franchise had to relocate.
I can't stay in the car for 11 days, so maybe I'll just buy a belt with a selt belt latch.
They must be assuming a class much bigger than 15.

I'm just thankful for the person who invented Spring football.
MSU, because we need the momentum and confidence for all the other games before OSU.
It's not only the fumbles and kicks he shouldn't return, but other punts that he could have caught that roll for another 15 yards.
Gallon is getting reps at the slot, so it's not like he would be completely benched.
...why does Lynn Henning write at all? He's equally terrible at all sports. Maybe he could write movie reviews instead.
He must use the same training program as Carlos Guillen.
Here's some of the sanctions they are considering:
