I think the most damning thing I've seen is that even if Urban reported the 2015 incident to Gene, clearly he did the absolute least he could do. Not only did he not put ZS on leave or anything else, the athletic department approved some pretty significant raises for him in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
That tells me there entire department is pretty full of shit. From the sound of it the Woody Hayes Center is a culture of enablers in the name of winning football games. I was originally on the fence on if Urban really needed to be fired, but now I find myself as tax payer in Ohio and wanting to make sure none of those involved have jobs at the end of this.
I work in the sports media industry and through some back channelling I heard Gruden to Oakland is done. Just riding out the season before announcing it.
The source is someone close to Gruden but whether or not he would actually know this....I can't say for sure.
I see your point, but it's hard to ignore the fact that you used rankings to present your argument and then a paragraph later dismissed someone else's argument for using rankings...does not compute.
The combination of Sparty seemingly always Sparting in games like these and Ohio State's unbelievable luck tells me that Ohio a State will be playing in the Natty.
We scored 9, that's right, 9 points in regulation against a Northwestern deference that is average for a not so good conference. Our talent is better than that, IMO. Borges does not earn a reprieve because we won.
Eh, still an unblemished record. A few games to watch in our bye week that could help us out. My guess is we're sitting right around 15-16 after next a weeks games. A win by ND against Oklahoma could prove to be a nice little boost.
I have an idea. How about we get a push with the defensive line and maybe get a sack, or maybe even a turnover. Then when we get the ball back, our offensive line opens a hole and lets someone run through it. How's that sound?
Norfleet is a circus back there. He's gonna cost us a turnover in a critical moment where he lets it bounce and it touches him. Maybe not this week, but it will happen.
I agree 100%. You wouldn't see Buckeye fans disappointed if they beat us when Gardner was out. All is fair in love and war. I don't care how we do it, I just want it done.
