Poster that Trey's agent sent to all the teams.

If you are a GM. If they got a great offer for Kemba they better know something about Trey.

His surgery was done a month earlier and was called a success at the time. All acl surgeries are called a success at the time. Man had a point.

That sounds like exactly what happened. The maize rage formed their own line and then announced that was the official line. How the hell is it up to them anyways?

They have between one team with a winning record during the streak and that team was without its start player. They have a chance to make the playoffs but odds are against them.

I'm assuming you aren't a big fan of the NFL either?

Are you just assuming he isn't because of his skin?

as an 8-loss team after winning the Big East.

They should say for example #6 in the Midwest or something like that.

They mostly draft on potential.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||I was going to say the same thing||
He has the combination of shooting, play-making, and driving ability to be a starter in the NBA. He kind of reminds me of Gordon Hayward after two years in college. Very similar skill sets with long limbs and that sneaky fast ability to get into the lane for layups and floaters.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Don't pay attention to which team they are projected to now||
Draftexpress is just ranking them right now and their mock almost completely aligns with their top 100 list. And yes, the Knicks owe Denver the pick this year and Toronto their pick in two years.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Bynum developed a ton||
He could barely catch the ball nonetheless execute a simple drop step in the post. within 4 years he became one of the best low post centers and passing big men in the league. Paul George was also basically a raw athlete with nice form on his jumper and has developed his skills to become one of the best players in the league. Kawhi Leonard was raw and couldn't shoot and now is an elite 3-point shooter and can pass and runt he pick-and-roll.
In summary you don't know what the hell you are talking about but go ahead and keep listening to "truismisms" that peole like Dickie V and Bilas keep telling you and believing that they are true.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Very cool article although||
It only accounts for some things. Rubio its probably the best defender at his position in the league, also the wolves were the worst threepoint during team in the league last year. So every time Rubio passed it to a teammate for a three it was judged as a bad decision. Plus his adjusted plus minus was 1.95 which is pretty good.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||What freak athleticism?||
GR3 is an average athlete by NBA shooting guard standards. He can jump high but can't quickly or explode in traffic. His first step is also merely good, not great. Maybe you haven't watched a lot of NBA lately but being able to catch a fast break alley-oop in the league is the norm. GR3's athleticism is about on par with Chandler Parsons.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||People have hated on those guys||
Because most of them are from duke, people hate duke but don't want to feel racist and hate on a black guy. So they just find the only good white guy on their team and hate on him. Is this not totally obvious?
|5 weeks 1 day ago||That's ridiculous and by saying that you are completely||
broading the definition of rape to the point of essentially marginalizing it. That's horrible. Please don't confuse poor decisions with rape because rape is an awful thing and shoudn't be conflated with having sex with someone with poor judgement.

Has Stauskas up to number 16 in this year's first round. Madness! I don't think he has the explosive leaping ability or or strength or lateral quickness to go in the lottery but I could see him going top 20.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||The idea the OSU doesn't have room for Smith is a joke||
They have always had room for both and if they didn't they would make room. They're not stupid, you don't turn down 4-star players from your number one pipeline.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Thank you||
It's common around here for everyone to say these kids are immature and do dumb stuff, etcetera etcetera. But If I'm a recruiter I'm going to go after somone who is wise beyond his years and has qualities like loyality and perseverance and such that are less common among 17 year olds. Immaturity doesn't make a kid bad but it also isn't bad of us to point out that's not necessarily a trait we are looking for either.
|15 weeks 1 day ago||I watched him when he played SDSU last year||
I was really interested in if he was number quality as this was in December or early January so I was eyeing him the whole time. The guy was lazy, didn't care about defense, and only rebounded if the ball fell in his lap or he could do a put back dunk. What was there to like about this guy? He also looked out of shape. He was like a less skilled worse shooting Michael Beasley.
Scouts fall in love with this SF/PF tweeners with skills but as we've seen with Beasley and Derrick Williams it's not the best idea.

If you thinking recruiting is creepy then don't follow it.
|16 weeks 3 days ago||I would ignore Herbert||
He has been pushing this 'Wiggins is not that great' agenda for months and will find or make up anything to prove his point. No scout worth his salt would say, "no way he goes number 1." They might say that they doubt he does because they like someone else better but Wiggins is way too talented no know what he cieling is yet.

I don't know why we didn't put the subs in 10 minutes ago.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||This is a good question. I'm glad you asked.||
I posted this in a thread last week but no one answered. I think we should be very concerned about our big man depth for 2014 and 2015. Donnal and Doyle don't project as defensive first centers and neither are known for their shot blocking. That's a much more valuable trait now that charge calls are so hard to come by. When Horford is on the bench next year we will have air behind him when it comes to any defensive presence. 2015 could be worse unless we find a defensive center for the 2014 or 2015 recruting classes. If these block/charge rules stick then your larger more athletic types are going to become much more important than your Jordan Morgan types on the defensive end.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Hey Weather Guy||
Maybe your predictions would be more useful if you made them a little earlier in the week. Like not the day of. You see, the day of I'm probably already at the game tailgating, it's a little late for weather predictions.
|17 weeks 4 days ago||Is anyone else worried about center depth next year?||
McGary is the only true center we have recruited in the last 3 years and if he leaves at the end of the year we will have Horford and air backing him up. I will be happy to see 5 year player with defensive chops starting next year but equally worried any time he goes out for a rest or with foul trouble. I know Ricky Doyle is a big body but he is not known for his defense yet and are we really counting on him to back up Horford next year or start in case of an injury?
Any chance we go after a defense first big man for the 2014 class? Or do we just hope the our current guys make some major improvements?
|17 weeks 4 days ago||I've noticed this for TomVH for 3 or 4 years now||
I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned too much before. It seems like almost every time Tom was wrong the last 4 years or so it also coincided with the recruit not talking to Tom leading up to the announcement. I think once a recruit has legitimately decided he is not interested in a team anymore or knows where he is going there really is no reason to continue the dialogue with gurus for said team.
