|1 week 3 days ago||yeah, I'm thinking years two and three||
are option years. he bet on himself last year by taking a one year deal instead of for years like everyone else drafted around him. that didn't work out but looks like he had a shot in Indiana.
|1 week 4 days ago||just dumb||
football is much more complex than baseball. cowherd came off as a bigot making his point but it is no less valid. your rant came off as a defense if baseball which is fine but it is clearly less complex than football.
|1 week 5 days ago||ace, I love your basketball stuff||
but this was one of the laziest posts you've ever done. There's so little is the data to distinguish the three and you don't point out his many deficiencies.

and all other kinds of expenses to live a better life that most of us can't even imagine. Even if all the medical expenses are paid the family will have a lot of extra expenses in the coming years.

and Cuse will have 10. They rarely have a rotation greater than 7 players. I don't think this hurts Cuse too much.

Because, no video evidence. Coach can convince himself that his player is actually being honest and it isn't as bad as it sounds.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Broussard is obviously an idiot but am I the only one who||
noticed Cuban's slight of hand? Broussard claims Cuban was texting Jordan's family and Cuban says prove that I was texting Jordan's friends. Also Broussard has zero common sense. If Cuban didn't have Jordan's address he could just ask Jordan's agent, Fegan.

In fact he was at a grandfathered in max from playing so many years and having started in 1996 when there was no rookie scale. So he was at 35 million in his last year - 12 million more than anyone else - and took 26 million a year for his last two years after he had torn his achilles.
He said he took all the money because he was worh it. From a marketing prospective he was, but he showed that he valued money over winning.

It's not like Duncan is making 10 million a year for Texas department store chain endorsement or something. These billionaires are highly competitive that own teams and they stand to lose money if other owners are cheating. If they thought something fishy was up they would investigate and file a complaint. Dirk and Duncan have both made 150 million plus in their careers with no state taxes. If they value winning over cash at this point in their life then more power to them. Kobe did not, now he is on a shit team.

I fully expect them to be in the mix.

if not crippled in the past. If Gilbert got caught paying his players on the side we would be heavily fined and stripped of multiple first round picks at best. At worst he would be voted out of the league. Under extreme circumstances the league could do something really punative like canceling player contracts.
What typically has happened in the past is that teams have promised players that they will keep them in the organization after they retire if they take a discount. That's more of a gray area and happens all the time.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Great article Alex||
As a huge NBA fan and Michigan fan I loved how you used these trades to laugh at some truly awful franchises. I also enjoyed the dead-on analysis of our guys's careers so far.

Who is going to the camp, any articles you can link us to? Time of the camp, who are we partnering with? Are the USC coaches still coming, how about others?

So Gores wouldn't be too smart if that were his logic.
|9 weeks 4 days ago||great ideal||
but there are plenty of nose bleed seats in the end zone which are awful. I take it you've never say there?
|9 weeks 4 days ago||I think the correct response is, who cares||
you will get your tickets before the first home game. getting them earlier only matters if you are pawning then off on OSU fans.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||you're wrong||
you'll realize tomorrow when everything comes out.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||listening to a Freakanomics podcast||
they said donating to an organization that will use the money effectively is almost always better than volunteering, in a vacuum.

from the bracket you sent us it looked like we would only see them in the finals.

|13 weeks 3 hours ago||This is why our recruiting isn't as good as it could be||
and I'm totally okay with it. Chances are that in the next 12 months a player either transfers or goes early. But Beilein can't be sure about that so he is holding off on recruiting Towns until something opens up. Of course by the time something opens up it may be too late to get Towns or someone of similar talent. It's the price of doing things the right way.
