Any update on injuries, did Cade travel?

Correction to OP he is 6th…

Correction to OP he is 6th in yards per attempt. I was surprised so I had to look it up. Out of the top 50 he is 42nd in yards per completion, which makes sense given the focus on short passes.

So next week it’s JJ and…

So next week it’s JJ and Warren in the 4th quarter?

Would this have been allowed…

Would this have been allowed in the pre NIL days? Or he is just a recruit can do anything he wants.

first half was quite ugly…

first half was quite ugly for both sides (seems like a mix of good defense, poor spacing, missed short Js, silly turnovers), but 2nd half Michigan looks completely different and dominant.

Surprised we haven’t see…

Surprised we haven’t see Wade, I thought he was available early January. It seems like he could give us 5-10 minutes a game if Eli is out...

Does senior bowl mean you…

Does senior bowl mean you can no longer come back, or is it more of an informal rule?

Will Evans be eligible next…

Will Evans be eligible next year? Or what is exactly the rule about eligibility this year...

Also it's Travis ConlAn and…

Also it's Travis ConlAn and Jerod Ward

Maybe for those who graduate and go to the NBA add that in, in fact easier to have a column NBA

Walton & Levert & Duncan

Also can add transfers who went to the NBA

You may want to note that Olivier St. Jean is now

Tariq Abdul-Wahad who had an 8 year NBA career

Makhtar (spelling & NBA)

Maceo (NBA)

Ekpe (NBA)

Love it!

Jimmy King…

Love it!

Jimmy King played in the NBA:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_King#Professional_career

King was selected by the Toronto Raptors in the second round (35th overall) of the 1995 NBA Draft and played 62 games for them during the 1995–96 season, averaging 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

I am living in France and…

I am living in France and for the past 10 years I used BTN 2 GO International, but much to my surprised this no longer exists (and I had an active paid account!!).  I am now trying to figure out if Fox sports allows access internationally...  I have ESPN Player international for all ESPN games though.

By the way, a bit off topic,…

By the way, a bit off topic, but do you think Simpson could turn into Eric Snow and get a cup of coffee in the league.  Seems like a lot of similarities, good floor leader/defense, 50% FT shooter in College...  I guess the 3 inches difference is the killer (and the fact that today's NBA doesn't value defense as much...)

For this game you can buy 1…

For this game you can buy 1 game for 9.99 at https://www.nbcsports.com/gold/int#live-upcoming

However you can only buy in a handful of countries.  I actually live in France (and was told that I could watch it in France, but not buy it here...).  I was in Austria this week, which luckily was a country where you could buy it....  So I bought it and looking forward to watching it (in France) tomorrow morning on replay (without knowing who won off course)...

I also have Big Ten International Network and ESPN Player, this normally gets me 95% of all UM BB/FB (the only games I miss are non-conference away games which are not on ESPN).

I am living in France (for…

I am living in France (for the past 10 yrs).  I have Big Ten To Go International and ESPN Player International.  This normally gets me nearly all games (except Away non-conference games on NBC/CBS/Fox for BB/FB).

So for ND-UM 2018, I reached out to the NBC/ND streaming site and they said that I can watch it in France, but can't "buy" it in France (like I would need to go to a nearby country to buy it...).

Outside of VPNs/Illegal sites, I think this is my only option...  Anyone else facing similar challenge to watch the game?  Anyone have streamed games from ND NBC site internationally?

<not sure anyone will read this, but this seemed to be the most recent thread on international...>

Irvin explosiveness

It does seem that Irvin has never regained his explosiveness.  I seem to remember him having a few emphatic dunks, before back problems/surgery.  Now, I remember a few blown dunks early on, and more recently lay-ups/weaker dunks when open...  I wonder if that is just something that never really healed.  Too bad, as I think it adds to what seems to be a class of Jr/Sr. who have not really progressed much in their time here.

Desmond picks would be Michigan/Bama/Clemson/Washington

No OSU!

I guess he thought the spot was short...

Deveon for 1000 yards

Well, after that game if we win at OSU, Deveon should be able to get 1000 yards, he only has 250 to go (so if we win at OSU, he would have at least 2 more games and possibly 3 more).  Should also have 4 backs over 500...

By the way, if we beat OSU and lose to Wisconsin, would both Michigan/Wisc. get in.. or is Michigan out then

57-55

Result of Rutgers players vote to forfeit game (no need to risk injury in facing 3rd top 5 team...)

Peppers return for TD, would it have counted?

Had Peppers returned it for a TD with the sideline penalty, would they have given the ball at the 15, enforced it on the XP (or choice on XP or kick-off)...  I guess was this sideline penalty a dead ball foul/after the result of the play...?

Official depth charts & Kenny Allen drilled...

Last year Michigan/Harbaugh released an official depth chart, right?  It had many OR, but there was one.  Do we have one this year?  Can someone share?  If not is someone creating one?

Unrelated point, I thought I saw Kenny Allen try to make a tackle and have the returner fall into him pretty hard around the legs, then I saw they put in Tice, anyone else see that?  Perhaps the coaches got a bit afraid of injuring the player hardest to replace...?

Also was in the 8th Thronson, still have the Beatles T-shirt...

Very Fired up to see Doug back in the AA...  Having gone to every home/away game in 1997 (many with Doug), but missed the Rose bowl..., he bleeds blue! <Raoul>

Andre Weathers was Industrial Engineer

I remember talking to him in one of my classes (I was a grad assistant) and discussing summer plans.  He was like, well, I will try to get an internship or maybe go to the NFL...  A few months later he was getting a Pick Six in his first game as a NY Giant!

Unfortunate career, ACL in game #9, then ACL in his first game back on the same knee...

0.2% is not right, closer to 5%

I really don't believe for 1 second that the outcome we saw was 1 in 500.  I think when a team lines up in max punt block with no worrying about roughing the kicker (so taking huge risk) they will block a punt much more often than in 1 in 500.  I would bet it's more like 1 in 10.  Then there is perhaps a 25% shot of picking up and scoring (there was 5-8 MSU guys around the ball and they know not to fall on it...  Unless it goes out of bounds or crazy bounces)...

So that takes us to 2.5%.  Then if you add that we did not have max protect, I think that easily gets to 5%.  I wish I had time, but I think the punt block success has to be higher than 1% with an all out punt block (we just don't see all out punt block so often)...

Does the NCAA allow you to model?

Isn't that making money off of your likeness?  Or do you have to prove it has nothing to do with your current role on a sports team...?

Slingbox

It was not great, sometimes grainy (can't see jersey numbers...).  I think this is dependent on bandwith on both sides though, so perhaps could be OK...

International watching (re-post..)

I have been watching internationally for the past 5 years.  I started with Slingbox connected to my brother's 2nd cable box (dedicated to me), but the box burned out.  I now use a combinaton of BTN2GO and ESPN Player.  I get BTN2go for the year and then when I come upon a game I can't watch I get ESPN Player for 1 month (potentially for the year if I think I need to get 2-3 months in a row)..  The last 3-4 years I have seen nearly every football/Basketball game (including pre-season).  Note, I often watch the games on Sunday (as some of the games are only available at noon from BTN when it's not a BTN game.

I am open to ideas for the ND game as it doesn't look like BTN will show it (they don't show away non big ten games) and not sure I will get it on ESPN Player...  That will be a pain as I will perhaps have to get up in the middle of the night and catch an illegal stream...

Note, I meant to post this here, but I posted on BTN Plus...

Lewan at right tackle

Wouldn't he just swap sides to take blind side?  Isn't that standard with your best Tackle?

McGary

Is McGary out?  Haven't seen him yet

Conference records only

We should really only look at conference records as non-conference tends to be easy opponents at home so this skus results.  If you look only at conference then the home/away strength of opponent should average out over 12 yrs.

Forcier is out for Gator Bowl

So much for Devin's redshirt, and keeping Tate for next year...

ESPN Player in Europe

Living in France.  I currently have a slingbox (SD version). It works OK, I bought the slingbox and paid an extra 20 bucks for my brother to get a cable box just for me.  So I can watch most games as he is in the detroit area (and use my own DVR).  The quality is poor (I can not see the ball on the kickoff/punts), but it's acceptable on normal plays.  Given I spend ~240$ a year, I was thinking of switching to ESPNPLAYER, thinking I could get ALL UM games basketball/football for 100 and get much better quality with a direct online feed.  However, surprised to read that not all games are on the player.  How can you find out which games are not on the player?  What are other people's strategy?

Are we going to settle in on 2 RBs?

Related to the formations, I am a bit curious on who have been the best running backs thus far. It seems like Shaw and McGuffie have performed the best, but have they been given better plays or been luckier in the blocking? Which type of runner is best for the I vs. pure spread... It seems like McGuffie and Shaw are better for the spread (although McGuffie had the nice I formation run). Maybe Minor/Grady are better in the I (with power runs inside?)

Will we see 5 RBs throughout the year (or will Brown become a 3rd QB option...)
